A plant-fiber tri-fold wallet made of natural hand-dyed abaca. This roomy wallet has 7 compartments to organize your things yet still be slim enough for the back pocket. Velcro closure allows you to store plenty in this wallet. Abaca is a natural plant fiber made from banana leaves. Abaca is the strongest natural fiber, on par with nylon for strength and is highly resistant to salt water damage. While a leather wallet will soak up sweat and plastic wallet will become yucky, this will remain undamaged and can be washed. Compartments include an open pouch for money, and secure zipper pouch for bills or papers, a front easy-access pouch for credit cards, two hidden credit card pouches for seldom used cards or coupons, a clear plastic pouch for pictures of loved ones, and a zipper coin pouch for coins or keys. Wallet is 9.75 inches by 5 inches unfolded and 3.5 inches by 5 inches when folded. This wallet is slightly over-sized, so that it becomes the more usual size when you have it full. This wallet has a RFID-shielding conductive-lining. For the techie: The lining material provides 99.9999% shielding in the range 10 to 3000 MHz.

Just what I was looking for
I've never liked wallets that when you open them shows anyone that wants to know exactly what you're carrying. For as far back as I can remember I've owned tri-folds like this but they've gotten harder to find and also smaller so cards don't slide in and out easily. This wallet is just a little bit larger than the one it's replacing, which is perfect. Being RFID shielded it's a little thicker than my last one but not uncomfortable when I'm sitting. No idea whether or not the shielding actually works but it holds enough that I had no trouble adding two RFID cards, which never would have fit in my previous ones.

Non-slip, Comfortable to Hold, Great Features!
I purchased two of these abaca fiber RFID wallets - one red one for now, one brown one for later. RFID wallets with zippered coin holders are rare to find and these offer a good grip! I use mine with RFID card sleeves (offered on Amazon). Alpine River sleeves fit my credit and debit cards perfectly.

Too Thick, would be better with a different outer material
While I like the overall design and all the pockets, the hemp material makes the wallet very thick when folded. Even with just a picture ID, a couple of credit cards and a few bills, the folded wallet is very, very thick to the point of being uncomfortable in a bulging pants pocket. I've had it a week now, and it isn't flattening out much. So it is not really working out for me

Good size..holds all of my essentials
I like that it's an alternative material to leather. There are plenty of little places to store quite a bit of coins, cards and mementos. I like the zipper coin pouch and the zipper area behind the bill compartments for large receipts.

Unique Roomy Wallet
Very well made, the cloth like material reminds me of a bamboo type weave soft but very sturdy. Roomy beyond expectation and reasonably compresses when put in a pocket. Very nice wallet overall.

Good but scratchy fabric
I ordered it for bills and coins in addition for being vegan. The positive reviews also helped but the con is fabric scratchy, not soft
