The moon had a crack about half way around it before it was even taken out off the box. The remote also wouldn't stop on any of the colors like it is supposed to. The colors only rotate. It would be a great product if only it wasn't damaged and worked properly. I'm going to send it back and see if they'll replace it. Well ,I shipped it back and had another one that was flawless and worked perfectly within a few days. My wife loves it too !

First and foremost, I love this product, but I have three criticisms. 1) The price is unreasonably high 2) (This is the most important issue for me) the magnetic field isn't "smooth" so the moon doesn't spin indefinitely. It slows down rather quickly, will "rock" back and forth and will stop altogether within an hour or two. I've seen other maglev desk toys that spin basically forever. 3) The remote to change the colors is rather cheap. Considering the price, the remote could be an order of magnitude better quality but it works fine. Beyond that, I love it. The 3D printed detail is awesome and it's very easy to just stare at it, transfixed. When setting it up, it's difficult to balance it and get it to levitate but after a little practice, it's not too bad.

I bought this and sent it back and got a replacement because it would not light up red. Amazon was great and sent a replacement right away. The replacement never worked at all. I sent it back also for a refund. There is another moon lamp a few dollars cheaper and it works perfectly and is the same size and colors with remote too. Higher price does not mean better in this lamp. Stay away from this one!

Wow!! 5+ stars!! This magnetic levitating moon is beautiful! The lights make it look substantially larger! We love our new floating globe, and are very proud to show it to our friends and neighbors. Thank you so much!!
