I ordered these in October, looking forward to the day we’d be able to use them. My joy was short-lived - 30 minutes into our first day of sledging my 7 year old broke the back corner whilst getting into it - he was being careful, without undue force and the back corner simply snapped in 2. When I contacted the seller to request a replacement, they pointed out that I was past the 30 days limit, no apology about the build of the item or offer to replace despite its deficiencies. So, if you are buying, make sure that it snows within 30 days of purchasing so that you can try them out to ensure you don’t have the same disappointing experience as we did! I will certainly not be purchasing these items from this vendor again

Can’t believe how bad this sledge is. I bought this sledge for my 4 years old son as his first sledge. Luckily Scotland got lots of snow this past week and my son was so excited to use his sledge but on fresh snow we noticed this sledge was not very fast on the slope and always got stuck in the snow even when we pushed it. Meanwhile other kids were flying down the slope at the golf course so we had to just pull my son around the golf course instead. Today was the third time we took the sledge out to the golf course and it was more icy and many kids were flying down the slope but my son’s sledge only managed to go about five meters then stopped after we gave it a push. I saw a dad with his son sitting in a very thin and small sledge going for almost 100 meters so I decided to sledge down the hill with my son, but had to use my hands to push our sledge down the slope. After several meters our sledge cracked! It was awful and very disappointing for my son who lost interest in sledging.

I was sceptical that I could fit with my 4 year old on as well but hey we just about managed it and the build didn't flex to much so I'm sure the sledge will work a treat, the design looks slick and colour is nice and bright making it easy to spot in the garage when stored away for the other 364.5 days a year! Great to see a UK manufacture also.Only gripe was the quality of the finish as some of the edges needed a little sand paper running over them to removes a few rough edges - suggest checking before handing to any children.Overall recommended

Very sturdy , not cheap plastic.Looking forward to using it with granddaughter.

Bought this sledge to go sledging, it looks good and is made well but gets stuck in the snow. Everyone else was flying down the hill while my daughter kept stopping and I had to keep pushing her. I didnt think it was very good, is ok if you just want to pull along though.

Bought this pink sledge for my little grandaughter. Arrived in a bin bag type covering, smashed to bits due to lack of protection.... binned it. Totally disappointed.

The item arrived within a few weeks of the order and I was happy with this, as I ordered this long before we had any snow as a present for my 3 year old daughter as it was pinkI did not open the package when it arrived, but stored it in a safe placeHowever when the snow arrived I opened the sledge only to find it had cracked - this may have happened during delivery- the item was only packaged in skrink wrap -However I glued and taped the crack- we took it out in the snow only with my 3 year old daughter - within 15 minutes of only my daughter going down gentle slopes the sledge broke in 2FIrstly the seller requires to ensure more packaging in used in transportationSecondly, this is a cheap item - not fit for purpose - certianly not an adults sledge, within 15 minutes the item broke and went in the bin after my 3 y.o daughter (who is less than 3 stone) went down a gentle slope

For all this arrived promptly and is a sturdy item, the sturdiness, compacted with a poor finish made this a dangerous item. It was chipped and damaged on arrival but this was due to the way in which it arrived- merely wrapped in clingfilm which was partly torn and revealeved the chipped frontage. It was left over a gate on our property and had we been allowed to answer the door in time, we would have refused the item due to the damage. The poor quality of the wrapping - or rather lack of packaging- was clearly responsible for the damage and lack of care in transit. There are four round protruding elements to the base of the item inside which had to be sanded down as these would have been very uncomfortable to sit on. There were 3 areas of thin razor-sharp edges from the manufacturing process which would have caused lacerations had we not used heavy-duty tape to cover them. The shoddy packaging meant we could not return the item but I would not recommend this item due to the finish. Its sturdy but brittle and had it 'roll top' edging would have been a super product. Stay safe and don't buy. We used it for an hour in the snow due to our granddaughters excitement but it will be going to the recycling depot soon.
