1st I must admit dat I've made these cookies all by myself on 2nd attempt. Here's d process that I followed:- 1) Freshly scraped coconut should b taken .2) Churned them in mixi 2 extract milk. 3) Boil 1 and 1/2 cup of water . Pour dis water in churned coconut paste. Squeeze out milk. 4) Strain d milk and keep aside. 5) Take rice powder and sieve it. Take maida nd sieve it. Maida should b of half d amount of rice powder. 6) Mix sugar equal amount of maida with d other ingredients.7) Add salt 2 taste.8) Pour strained coconut milk. 9) Consistency of dis batter should b not very thick nor very runny.10) If possible refer 2 YouTube. 11) Keep a fork ready. 12) Keep moulds in hot oil. Dip d mould 3/4 in d batter then immediately transfer into d hot oil. 13) With d help of fork push d batter into d oil. 14) Moulds should also b kept in hot oil while dis is done. Believe me they turned out really well.I wanted 2 purchase Nordicware rosette sets but these set r 2 cheap compared 2 nordicware or other more expensive set. When I'll master that art of making them perfectly I'll buy and try with d more expensive set that I always have longed 4. Pic attached 4 clear understanding of d outcome. Though I got dis set in 2 different designs. I've tried with only dis 1. Hope my long review helps other buyers 2 make wise decision. Moreover it's made in India. Another desi stuff though lacks finishing.
