Ginger Sesame Seitan Vegan Jerky 2 Oz - Hand Made - Savory Extra Tough Texture

Tasty very tasty, texture is good almost like very thin sliced beef jerky. A little spicy for me( I sweat with red hots ) but so tasty i suffered threw it mmm mm good 😊 👍

I took a gamble on this because it had decent protein and was relatively low in calories. I’ll be honest- the best I was hoping for was that it was “okay.” I am not a vegan. I eat traditional jerky. After trying this, though? I would choose this over regular jerky. I love the flavor profile, I dig the chewy texture, and I like that I don’t have strands of it stuck in my teeth after eating. The price is a little steep but that’s also the case for normal jerky.

Love the Pleather brand jerky. The texture is the most similar replication of classic dried flat jerky (think gas station stuff... oberto, jack links, etc), but actually slightly more tender. To best describe it... when you try to tear it with a piece in your mouth, it's kind of hard to. And I like that! It's not actually tough to chew. The ginger flavor is really great and has a wonderfully juicy soy sauce touch to it. The red bag flavor (I think it's red chili flakes) is still my favorite one though. IMO, this brand is far better than the Louisville brand jerky - they're good, but they're very soft and it doesn't feel like jerky in your mouth as a result.

I read all the reviews before I purchased, but now that I've tried it, I really don't know why this product got good reviews. The Ginger Sesame Seitan Vegan Jerky has a terrible taste/texture and it's really overpriced of the small bag you'll receive. Pass on this one because there are definitely better vegan jerky products available.

There's an underlying flavor of ginger and sesame I really liked. But it is overwhelmed by the amount of salt and pepper (and sugar). So while I liked it, I probably won't reorder, unless I forget how over salted it was. If there was a reduced salt version (and w/o so much pepper) this might've been one of the better veggie jerkeys.

Love it, as a vegetarian , this is really good, pulls apart like meat, and has a great great taste, also the peppered version is very good!!

I'm not a vegan, but am open to try vegan alternatives for meat, now issue with this the sesame ginger is the texture feels exactly like Jerky that's a plus, but flavor isn't balanced some parts taste decent others straight terrible as if it was over seasoned making it taste to acid like, so imagine you just got a bag of this,& your 1st bite is terrible, 2nd bite is good,& the pattern repeats, all I'm saying is it can be better

Oh my goodness! These vegan jerky is SO delicious! The texture literally reminds me of the real thing! I haven’t eaten meat in 4 years now and about a year ago I had a taste for jerky. Fast forward to a few months ago, I found these and oh my do I wish I had not! 😩 The texture and flavor is EVERYTHING! The ginger sesame and black pepper is my my absolute favorite! You will love this jerky! I wish more came in the bag but hey if you really like something, you’ll pay for it. And I’m going to keep paying for this. I am convinced there is no better tasting vegan brand for jerky than Pleather!
