I want to paint them a flat color. Is the canvas primed so the paint will go on evenly?

The canvas isn't primed. Many people have had great success painting directly on the screen, but if you want the coat to be perfectly even we recommend priming it before you paint it. Thanks!

What is the depth of the frame? I am hoping it is wide enough to attach casters, so I can move it easily.

It is about 1-1-1/2 inches wide, but you won't need casters; it is easy to move and very sturdy on its existing frame.
