Works like a charm
I had the original siemens maf faulty around rpm 1600, bad fuel consumption and hesitant on acceleration, this solved the problem like immediately. Will update on performance when identified, if no issues i will not update this review.BMW x3 e83 2006 M54B30

Works just fine on a '05 330ci
I have it only for a months. I installed it without any issues. The engine controller has no issues operating with it. The car drives just fine. I did not notice any performance issues. Gas mileage stayed the same.Bottom line it works as it should. The only question left: How long will it last.

Car is working now!!!
Hello all!I have a 2003 (E46) 330i ZHP. My OEM mass air flow sensor failed recently. As a result of this the car would go into limp mode while the MAF was connected and would only drive with it disconnected. As you may imagine, it drives extremely rough while it was disconnected as it was very choppy throughout the powerband (especially below 3.5Krpm). In addition to that, the car would stall randomly on extremely hot South Florida days, and the MPG was terrible. After swapping my MAF with one from my friends car and seeing that the car ran perfect, I knew that the MAF was definitely the culprit. I messed up initially by buying a used "as is" OEM MAF from eBay because $100 later and I had another faulty MAF that was doing the same thing. This MAF cleared the issue up immediately however and my car is pulling strong again. As I have aftermarket headers, I still have a CEL light, however, using my BMM V2.0 reader, I no longer have a MAF associated error, so I believe this will clear your CEL if it is related to the MAF.If the MAF fails in the future I will update this review providing a timeline to failure. If it doesn't fail, then I will not update this review. Either way, if it lasts for a while, this $30 part is already performing better than the used eBay part so it is definitely worth the try if you cannot afford the original $350 part at this time.

So far so good.
Fixed my bad maf oem I had on vehicle from build date 2005 E46. We shall see how long this one lasts. Most importantly performance from it. My code p16a7

Fixed the problem!
Replaced multiple parts due to “high emissions” on both banks (vacuum hoses, intake boots, etc.) and wanted to give the MAF a try. For such a low price, throwing parts was not a big deal. We’ll see the longevity, especially compared to OEM. For now it works well!

Do not Buy!!! Faulty and does not work with 2004 BMW X3
I bought this MAF for my 2004 BMW X3. When i installed it i started having transmission problems which i did not associate with the MAF. I talked to my local BMW shop and he says that the transmission gets some signals from the MAF and getting them properly. I had not idea that this new unit i bought would do that. Anyways got a OEM one and all the problems went away. The kick in the pants was by the time i figured it out my return period had expired and they won't accept a return. Now I'm stuck with $100 piece of junk. DO NOT BUY.
