Awesome stories behind well loved hymns

I really enjoy this book. I love the history of the song, the verses to read each day, and the words to the song. That is nice so I can look it up on YouTube to hear it and know I have right song. I would love to find a book that had the CD with the book. YouTube still works fine. I will be buying more to give my teacher aides at school. I am always looking for inspirational books that bring people to the Word.

What a great addition to personal devotions. The power of the hymns and the stories behind them are heartwarming and challenging.

I used this book with an older Sunday school class. It is full of great information and has more than enough titles.

Purchased this as a gift for a friend. Dismayed to see the wacky "retro" publication. It is a paperback in good covers as expected. Then the production goes downhill. The paper is rough, the page edges are deliberately uneven and in many cases very faint. One buys books to read not to admire the "old feel". Some pages are all but illegible. The material (where legible) is good- the production is absolutely awful.

OMG! I have never seen a bad production like this book before. The pages are ragged and uneven. I am still in complete shock to know that they even went ahead to publish the book and sell it for £11.49.Seriously who ever this publisher is should think twice next time before bad piece. I received it today 3 February and I am sending it right back!
