I love the long probe and the ability to angle it how you like. The detachable extension probe is amazing for baking meats, or low and slow BBQing. The numbers are easy to read and the backlight helps to see when using outdoors at night. Its quite accurate and easy to use! However, my only gripe about this product is the magnet. Im not sure how this passed quality control, but there is a magnet located on the back of the thermometer so you can stick it on your fridge inbetween readings. However the magnet is so weak it cannot hold itself up. I dont mean that as it slowly slides down the fridge or you need direct metal contact. The magnet is so weak it might as well not even be a feature because it does not stick what-so-ever. Other than that, its a great product for the price.

Here is a digital food thermometer that is so simple to use, and works so well. I was cooking hamburgers for lunch when it arrived so I immediately had to test it out. Battery's not included. After installing a couple AAA out to the grill I went. I opened up the prob and it comes on. Testing the meat was so easy. The display is large and easy to read. It even has a nice back light for use at night. I cant wait to use the extra long wired prob that comes with it when I do the next roast. It also has a easy to program buzzer that you can set for the temp of what ever you are cooking as a reminder, nice feature. This is a must have with its supper strong built in magnet and large hole to hang it up when not in use.

I've owned a lot of inexpensive thermometers. This one is great. The thin taper at the end of the probe heats and cools very quickly, so you get a steady reading in just a couple of seconds.I find myself using the long, external probe about half the time. It is very handy and it's why I chose this thermometer.

Before,I am afraid of under cooking it and in turn usually end up overcooking it. But since I bought this my chicken and fish comes out perfect every time and I am no longer throwing away food after it’s done.It is very reliable.The temperature is very easy to read and the numbers are large and clear. There is a backlight that can be seen clearly at night too. It's much better than the old thermometer I used in the past.This thermometer also has a magnet and I just leave it on the front of the oven so it’s always there when I need it. The thermo sensing needle can be sharp so be careful...Also remember to handle with oven gloves as the mesh wire and the metallic needle can get too hot to handle.

Easy to use thermometer that offers a remote (wired) probe and a jackknife probe in one easy package. Good light makes display easy. The magnet holds secure on bare/painted metal. Don't need another but would if did.

Purchased this recently because it has an additional external probe, which is useful. Accurate, easy to use, so far so good. Hhave not used the temperature alarm yet but good to have this function. LCD is easy to read. Ability to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit with one touch is good.

This is the best digital thermometer I've ever owned. It is extremely fast and accurate. I like that it comes with a grill or oven probe and it's sharp too, got myself in the hand pretty good. I've gotten it wet and it didn't die like other thermometers I've owned.

This thermometer would NOT calibrate. I followed the calibration instructions over and over but it still read ice water at 240°f instead of 32°. Finally I contacted the seller and theie response was to send me the exact same instructions that we're printed on the package which I already told them I had tried repeatedly. They said if that didn't work to send it back. Not worth the frustration so I took them up on that and I'm not ordering another.
