I look up lets plays and videos of packs before I buy them to get a feel if theyd be fun. This one has a ton added to the game!

Even though this pack may fly under the radar comparatively to some others, It is a fantastic addition to your game! The main hook of this pack is that it adds a fame system to the game. Fame actually takes quite the effort to accure, making the journey feel a lot more rewarding. More subtly, it adds a reputation system too, with positive and negative reputations, affecting how other sims see you upon introduction.More fame allows you to unlock fame perks, which add various interactions and mechanics that can have some really fun effects. Eventually, your sim will gather quirks too, which tend to influence your sim emotionally, and can be really funny to see.Outside of the perks, there are other various effects to being famous too, such as fans following you and showing up wherever you go, influencing what townie sims wear through your outfits, and some fun, celebrity-exclusive interactions.This pack also adds a new career, being an actor. The gigs are very fun to play through and watch, though I will admit, I haven't experimented too much with this career yet.A much needed trait is also added, being self-absorbed, allowing your sims to be even more egotistical!Finally, Build mode is alright overall, but it has quite a few gems in it, including a new livestreaming and video-uploading system! The CAS items tend to be very polished and elegant, most of which look like what a celebrity would wear, along with some CAS items more focused on livestreamers, and some more costume-like outfits to go along with the actor career (but are still fun to use outside of it, of course!)So overall, I would recommend it, especially if you like playing through progression systems, or want to add some more charm to your game. Personally, it is one of my favorite Sim 4 DLCS I have gotten!

My daughter loves to play this on her computer. Said it's so much better than playing on the xbox.

This expansion is actually pretty fun (for the acting path)! You can actually go on set and see your rise to fame. It takes a bit of time to get to the higher rankings of stardom but it’s interactive so I think it’s cool. Although, in real life there are so many other ways to get famous like being a musician that weren’t really a focus in this expansion.

I found the influence career it it what the actors use for movie sets with the computer and monitor. If you can't find it in build mood try using the debug cheat.

This adds great content to the game. However, the ads for this make it seem much more interactive than it really is. It’s slow to progress in the game especially without cheat codes. You will audition for a role and two to three days later you will act. The acting roles are completed in steps such as go to makeup and wardrobe, eat lunch, interact with producers or cast members, etc. there is no autonomy for the acting roles just click on what you’re supposed to do and then your Sim completes the task.
