Midway
A classic board game I played as a kid... how cool to be able to revisit it again... five stars definitely

Easy play includes very easy hidden movement
Absolutely one of Avalon Hill's most exciting introductory games. Easy play includes very easy hidden movement. You must find your enemy's fleet before they locate yours. Planes can fly combat air control (CAP) over your fleets as you send out bombers and torpedo planes. As each turn goes by the tension rises. Combat between all units is possible. Combat is resolved on another board. Each board is the single fold type that opens to 14 by 22 inches. The rules are very simple making for great playability. Also, while the game centers on the capture of Midway ( have not seen it yet ), it never plays the same way. The Japanese players always have to try something new. I will say though you will have air to air, air to ship, and most probably ship to ship combat. All in a game that is as easy as, oh let us say E6. Well it takes a little more brain power but it is worth it.
