Great Bible
This is my new Bible. It is the Blue Edition. It has two ribbons one is the blue and other is black. This is large print and is perfect for my reading at 72 years of age. For those looking for all the bells and whistles this is very close. It does not have the thumb index tabs or the red letter for Christs Words. I really don't need those things since I learned the Bible Books a long time ago and it is simple to know when Jesus is talking.I was looking for the important stuff like all the references and the maps to bring alive the message. It is very helpful to have those things to understand the travels of Jesus and the Apostles in their times. The modern language is much better then my trying to read the King James Bible. We simply don't live with that English and we never have in our lifetimes. It is old and archaic to us and does not make the Bible any more Holy to have it. This is accurate for our language. I have compared it where it is different than some other versions and it does NOT change the meaning of the scriptures or ADD to the scriptures. It simply puts it in our more modern language. To say that the King James is more accurate because it was the first English Bible is to ignore all the wealth of new translations in all other languages to witness to all the nations. In these last days God is reaching to the entire world for a witness to all the nations before he comes again.Remember that all scriptures are inspired by God. We can be assured that the message of Christ as the Messiah is the message consistent in all the Bible. He is the hope for all to be saved. That truth is ever present in all Bibles. This Bible is not real leather but very nice leather feel and flexible. It has beautiful silverbinding pages instead of gold which is beautiful with the blue. Pages are nice and no bleed through. They also do not stick right out of the wrapping. Very easy to just start reading. Very good price.

A Great Little Grab and Go Bible!
This NASB translation is just what I was looking for (my favorite) for my journalist bag. Since it's not an expensive Bible, if it gets damaged with being out and about, it's not expensive to replace. The print font is small but dark and easy to read. And I'm glad it is not a "red letter" edition, as I find that red lettering usually fades and is hard to read for certain eye conditions. Headings are nice in it too. For the money, it was just what I was looking for.

Exactly what I was looking for
This was exactly what I was looking for. I was looking for a black covered, NASB Bible of good quality, and that's exactly what this is. The print is the perfect size for someone who doesn't need giant print, but wants larger than some of the tiny print you see in some Bibles. It is very easy to read. The cover seems like good quality bonded leather, and the binding seems to be well done. The pages aren't too thin or too thick. When you open the Bible and lay it flat, it stays open to the page you are on without trying to close, yet it also feels sturdy and not like the binding is going to fall apart. Very good quality. The only thing I would point out is that I wouldn't call it "Ultrathin." It is definitely thinner than a lot of Bibles I've seen, but if you're looking for a truly "Ultrathin" Bible, this is not what you're after. It is 1.5" thick, which isn't bad at all, just not really what I would call ultrathin. Personally, I wasn't looking for an ultrathin Bible, so this one is absolutely perfect for me.Another thing, if you're looking for a study Bible with all kinds of commentaries, that's not what this is. This is just a good, old fashioned reading Bible of great quality. Though, it does have the normal NASB cross references and notes in the middle column, a small concordance in the back, a few maps, and several blank pages in the back that could be used for notes. And if writing on the pages is your thing, there is around 3/4" on the edges that gives you enough space to jot a note down. It's an excellent Bible for what it is.

Nice
Very well design I like it. Also its my favorite translation: New American Standard Bible. Great gift, the one I gave it spoke of it glowingly

NASB Ultrathin Text Edition, Brown, Softcover, 2020 text
Likes: affordable, decent paper and opacity for its price class and size, line matching, a thinline that's actually thin, rounded corners, printed in USA, something I can easily carry.Dislikes: the outer cover is actually thinner than the card stock pages immediately following, the packaging says "softcover leathertex" but it is nothing like Lockman's regular leathertex, glued binding, the smaller set of footnotes, no ribbons.

Best Translation Great Bible
This is a well crafted Bible. Also this Bible has the best translation from the ancient manuscripts that is available today. Don't take my word for it, please look into the work put into the translation for yourself.

Great Leather Binding; Excellent Print Size
This NASB printing of the Bible has an excellent leather binding that is certain to last many years under heavy use. I’m extremely pleased with the type font size. As an older person, I prefer larger type, and this Bible has a nice 10-point font that is easy to read. It is also printed in two-column format which I believe makes it easier to read as well. I highly recommend it as an extremely good printing of the Bible in the NRS version.

Couldn't Put it Down
This is lovely! I couldn't put it down. I have lots of Bibles in many versions but this one seems like it will take the spot of being my favourite.I really like the NASB. I love the *asterisks and the _italics_ they have in there to help us see what the original Greek would be like. I think it's important because it gives different emotions as I read it if I'm aware of a different way of speaking being used.I really like the book itself. I love the way it's got that real old times hardback book feel to it. I got an ESV that is hardback but has a sort of weird hollow feeling to the covers... I can't pinpoint it but I think it's something to do with the way hardback books are sometimes made now.... I have an NRSVACE like it as well. I don't like the light and slippery hollow feeling to them books. But this book feels real! And the hardback covers feel tough and not slippery either.I love this Bible.

A Decent Bible, But Needs To Be Better Quality
Decent Bible, but the pages are too thin. You can see two or three pages past where you're reading, and depending on the lighting it can give you a headache.

Great for Bible Study
This is a great bible. Some criticise the NASB as being a too literal and somewhat wooden translation. Read a good review and try it yourself. Keep The NIV beside you to give a more fluent rendering. A great value of this particular bible is its supplementary material. It has a very extensive topical index of cross references and a similarly full concordance cum dictionary. The cross references indicate different aspects of a topic which is very helpful e.g. HOME has references for 'go home', 'at home', 'stay at home' and other uses. The concordance/ dictionary takes a word, gives a short explanation followed by references where it occurs e.g. JACOB - (God has protected) The former name of Israel, the younger brother of Esau, He was the favourite of his mother Rebecca, followed by the references. The leathertex cover is soft - but we'll see how it wears - and the bible opens easily in hand or on a desk. It also has pages for a family tree. Well worth the money

Good Quality but not Large Print
2/3rds the thickness of my current NASB but suspect that most of that is down to the extra's in my old bible. The term "Large Text" is in my opinion misleading. I am fifty and found the text in my bible hard to read so decided I would do well with large print. I would estimate the text to be about 20% larger than my old bible, but I would not call it large, perhaps "Bigger".
