Fit perfectly. I had to get an new windshield frame and windshield. I had someone else do the installation but the weatherstrip is a great fit. Very happy with how it looks. Looks to be just as durable as the original. Haven't had any water come through so it is doing its job.

This is the outer seal for a Jeep YJ windshield. Fit was great. I would buy this item again.

Great fit

This trim is for the the hard top side windows (the rear glass has a metal frame/trim around the top, and sides). This trim may work for around the outside of the windshield, but it's not what is supposed to be used. The proper part should look like a capital J only with a line across the top, -ya know, like how we learned to write a capital J when we were little-. The curve at the bottom of the J is supposed to hook over the inside face of the glass before the glass is installed WITH the trim on it. This trim has double "hooks" on both sides ,and would seem (not positive though) to have to be installed after the glass is set into the frame. Also the face of this trim is less than 1/2" wide, so its not going to give much coverage to the frame (just over 1/8" at best of overlap to the frame from window opening edge) when installed. If you have a hard top, and want more reference go look at one of the side windows for what you will get when you order this. I am not going to use it on the windshield, instead like another reviewer going to use it on the HT side windows where the original trim has shrunk over the years, and is now like 4" too short. Don't know if there is enough in this package to do both the HT windows, may just cut enough to fill the 4" voids.**UPDATE** When my buddy (Professional glass guy) came to install the windshield glass back into the repainted frame he confirmed this item was not the correct part, and used (at no charge) some universal trim molding he had which was double the width, and looked nice when done.

The material used is more like a medium density plastic. It is much too stiff to lay flat and provide a waterproof seal for the window and frame. I would not recommend using this as a replacement unless you had a way to get it to fit properly.

The side glass seal on my Jeep Wrangler yj was rotten.. The new seal went on easy looks much better..get tube of sealant..

Tried to install it and ended up throwing it away....
