Had my watch for a few weeks now. It has held up well, continues to keep accurate time although it takes some getting used to - you have to remind yourself to wind it regularly, or of course it will stop running. I've found that winding when you wake up, and winding when you go to bed keeps it ticking right along.The look of it is very stylish, like a cross between steam-punk and gothic. The open face both front and back make it a little difficult to tell the time, but it's a minor complaint. Chain is sturdy as well as the clip. It's a time piece that's obviously not meant for hard knocks and rough treatment, but for the price it's more than fine.

Nice looking solid watch, seems well made and keeps good time. The one MAJOR flaw is that it is very hard to read the time. The hands of the watch are made of fine black wire, the second and minute hands are observable however the hour hand although very ornate is made of very fine wire and is lost in the background of the watches working parts making reading the time very difficult. I will keep it because as I said it is a nice watch but I am not happy with it and would pick a different watch if I were shopping for another watch.

Got this watch for parts to supply my wife's polymer clay crafting, her specialty is steampunk art, and watch parts figure prominently in the smaller sculptures she makes. Watch parts tend to be a tad pricey, even when purchased in bulk, so getting such a rich source of them for a very reasonable price was impossible to ignore. After receiving the watch I was struck by it's good quality, far better than I had expected for a watch of such low price. After winding it I noticed that it kept near perfect time, unexpected, to say the least. The case is just as attractive as pictured, and if my wife doesn't use it for parts I may just snitch it for myself.

Watch is good quality, although the front plastic lense is a little cheap. The watch will last a good 2-3 days on one wind and look even nicer in real life. The chain is a little cheap, but that and puttin a glass lends on the front are probably the only two things I would change about it, and those are fairly minor for me.

I was only looking for something inexpensive as a prop for a printed photograph, but when the item arrived I was blown away! Understand that I'm taking into consideration how much it sells for. Casing was in great shape with no dings or scratches, the window on front and back is really cool how it allows you to see the inner workings of the watch, I personally really like the manual winding feature as it adds a little something on a nostalgic level, and the engraving patterns were really cool! very satisfied and I have received many compliments on it though it sits on a bookshelf in my library.

Really cool looking watch. The face is plastic, not glass, don't know why i thought it would be though since it was so inexpensive. So really i think you get more than what you pay for here because it is a really cool design and it keeps time better than i thought it would.

This was one of Xmas presents for my wonderful husband after he mentioned once that a pocket watch would go nicely with his outfit at the opera.This one is really cool - you can see the artful mechanism in motion from either side of the watch. You can see time without opening the lid, because the lid also has roman digits engraved on top of it. All in all, this is an eye-catching item, heavy in a palm of a hand, with dark shiny metal.You do need to remember to kick it old school and REWIND, because it is a mechanical, not quartz watch. :)

Looks great and very nice to see all the movements inside. Mine gets off by about a minute or so every day but fairly accurate other than that. Also you can't set the second hand as when you pull out to change time the second hand just keeps moving around. Overall very nice for the price
