they are just wack
they are prettythey look very nice and shiny, they look like expensive pots made with good materialsbut they are kinda scratchy, don't feel smooth to turn, kinda wiggle around a bit, and they are "jumpy" when i am adjusting my tonei replaced some cheaper mini generic pots with these and i cannot really say it was an upgrade, especially for the price, they are not great

Really opened up my guitar tone.
I wish I would have put a 1 meg pot in my guitars thirty years ago! It really allows the guitars natural tone come through, and if it's a little too hot at times, a slight nudge will cut it back to the sound of a normal 500k.I have this pot on a Warmoth Jaguar body with a DiMarzio Gravity Storm pickup set, which is already a hot set of pickups. A 1 meg pot on a normal output pickup like a JB or PAF will just "open it up," if that makes any sense. It expands the tonal spectrum, is another way to say it. It does not cause your guitar to explode with feedback or actually increase your overall volume (it just gives the amp a bigger signal, potentially adding overdrive to a distorted channel). If you have feedback issues... you're probably using too much distortion, pedal gain too high, crappy pickups, or any number of other issues. It's not from simply putting a 1 meg pot in your guitar. For eight bucks, it might be worth the experiment. As I said, I wish I did it decades ago.

try it - you might like it.
love it - gives my guitar a wide-open sound. knurled shaft fits most slip on knobs.I'd suggest that everyone have a few different types of pots floating around & try all of them w/ your pickups to see which works best. 1 meg will give you the most wide-open & frequency range, while 250k will round off the high frequency a lot.& sound more compressed.

good quality is worth paying for.
Sometimes you just have to use a good quality part, especially with guitar electronics. I cannot settle for cheap, unreliable stuff when I'm dealing with audio. Some of my Chinese pots sound scratchy so I bouhjt this good pot... no problems.1 meg ohm gives me more impedance (resistance) to ground.

Nice potentiometer.
It works well and has good action. They are made for sound but I use them for colloidal generators. It works perfectly. I wish it came with the nut on top. But those are cheap to buy at the hardware.

Perfect for a piezo o a very dark humbacker
Very clean sound, very bright. Perfect for a piezo o a very dark humbacker. Cane with washer and nut. 3/8 hole is required.

Decepcionante.
