Very nice
This is excellent - much nicer than I was really expecting - great addition to my husbands shop and make the insurance company happy too

but it can be easily repaired.
We have several of these throughout our shop. They get heavy use, and are quite durable. The most common issue we have with these cans, is that the spot weld where the lid meets the can gives out, but it can be easily repaired.

When no one has it, just go to Amazon.com
We have a machine shop and have to have a airtight, metal can to put dirty rags. None of the regular catalogues carried them any more. They only had plastic cans. I went on line to see if I could find them. Not only did amazon.com have them, but they were even cheaper and larger than the ones we already have. So we bought two (2).

Broke with first use
I stepped on this drum to open it and the hinge came apart where it is spot welded to the drum at the back. I ordered three of these and the others seem to be ok, but like this one, we have not used them yet. Also, because they are considered Hazmat, I might not be able to return it even thought it is like it was when it came out of the box (except for the broken part). We will see what Amazon does about it.Edit: Amazon has agreed to take care of replacing the broken item. The other two that I bough still seem ok, so this one must have gotten through quality control. Time will tell if the others hold up but right now I would recommend.
