I've been replacing all lights in the house with LED lights gradually, so I've seen the whole progression of LED lighting technology. The W-lite fixture is how lighting should be done properly. Just opening the package, everything was secured in a single custom-made bubble pack. The fixture is composed of the back plate to which the driver and the LEDs are affixed, and there's a cover piece that attaches afterwards.Positives:- Proper grounding- Simple yet efficient design- I prefer the cool light it supplies, but that's just a personal choice- Easy to install! I've had a few lights (typically sold in your local box store), where installation required a minimum of 2 people to just hold multiple glass components in place, while turning a screw. Here, one person can install in about 10-15 minutes.Negatives:- If the LEDs or the driver have a problem, it's easier to replace the fixture than to fix it. If you go with an older fixture, you just have to replace an LED bulb. Yes, they are supposed to last for many years, but that hasn't been my experience. The 14-inch round fluorescent light fixture in the ceiling of my modest-size den has never put out as much light as I wanted. When the tube finally began flickering, I decided to replace the entire fixture. A bit of browsing at the two big box home stores in town proved less than fruitful, so I searched Amazon for something that would suit my purposes.This fixture from DLLT appeared in the list that Amazon provided, along with others that were more expensive and with fewer features. I decided to give this fixture a try.When I removed the old fluorescent ceiling light, I discovered to my delight that this new fixture would attach to the mounting bracket from the old light, so that made the replacement easy. The remote control requires 2 AAA batteries that are not supplied, but really this is not a big deal. I used high quality alkaline batteries.The dimmable feature was a big plus, and it works great. My den has two light switches on walls at each end of the room, and with the remote control, I don't have to install a dimmer wall switch. The brightness range is perfect for me, too. Maximum brightness is nice to have for activities that require a lot of light, but other activities don't need that much light.The distribution of light is excellent, with uniform brightness across the fixture. Also, the fact that the light extends a couple of inches down means that some light is distributed sideways as well as downward. I had considered using a recessed light fixture, but they tend to create a "light cone" with corners of the room getting insufficient illumination. This DLLT fixture eliminates that potential problem, with light extending to the sides as well as downward.I will mention that the fixture feels a little flimsy when held in the hand, but once it is up, you wouldn't know that.

I had installed an Elecwish 1920 lumen LED kitchen light w/remote 3 years ago. While it was cheaply made, it did have incredible light output which this DingliLighting 2400 lumen LED light w/remote doesn't have. It's bright yes, but just barely bright enough. I bought it because I wanted even more light than the Elecwish light, not less.The Elecwish, which I purchased on Amazon is all I can compare it to. Unfortunately, it started to flicker for 5 minutes before turning on each time. I expect this light to fail the same way in a few years (these Chinese LED lights all talk about the LEDs lasting 50,000 hours, but the light's electronics wear out MUCH sooner, if not the remote control).The remote does work well from a far distance without having to point it at the light. I'm not used to the remote yet, but it's definitely not as cool as the Elecwish. The Dingli remote allows things like an instant bright switch, color temperature ramping as well as brightness ramping. It has an auto shut-off for either 5 minutes or 30 minutes. It also has a night light feature. It's too difficult to explain what I don't like about this remote, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I would personally look for a brighter light if it's for the kitchen.

I am so thrilled this light worked out for the area I needed it for! We remodeled my kitchen and there was a handmade huge vent system over my island (which I always wacked my head on) The one thing I was concerned about was there was no light switch for the power source just the 2 wires! After researching many lights the DLLT 30W could be installed without switch! They are correct it works wonderful! It has many settings you can choose from! A Warm White, Daylight to even a night light! Also in the 2 settings you can adjust the brightness! It also has a button for Full Bright which truly is Bright! It has a timer setting that I have not played with yet, but will be interested in how that goes! My kitchen has always been dark and now, this inexpensive, easy to install with remote light has made such a huge difference! I just love it! The 3 pics are just 3 of the settings! Warm White on high and low and Day light on high! Update: 1/24/21 Light still working, yes I still love it! I do have a little issue now and then with needing to click the on/off button couple times to make it work! All other buttons work fine!
