Installed exactly as expected in my 2000 f150. Completely transformed how the truck drives on the highway. The old box was getting worn out and finally failed, but previously the truck was always a little squirrelly on the highways. It now drives like its brand new after about 1 month and 1000 miles of break in on the new steering box. The job of changing it was easy enough (remember to use lock-tite) but buying this and doing it myself saved me at least $500-600, so, I’m happy.

It works great.

Still has a small roar to steering, otherwise, all is good.

Seems like a good remanufactured part so far, only issue I had was the paint came off really easy. But so far so good, I'm hoping it will last a while.Update: I haven't even owned it long enough to break it in and it completely busted the gears inside. The cover plate started leaking and poof. Wish I could get my money back but you get what you pay for.

finally got around to installing this steering box and its the incorrect box for my 99 f250 it turns the opposite direction probably came off of forklift smh

I swapped out my ‘99 F150 4x4 worn out steering box, and it now’s drives like new. The box is no longer loose, very tight. Very satisfied. I also received a core refund.
