Great for dogs and babies. Not sure if great for people.
I bought this to be used as puppy pads, but for a senior dog who is incontinent lately. It's so much more cost effective to buy this than the ones that are apparently specifically made for dogs at 5 times the price. It is definitely 100 count but I didn't realize it was gonna be a bit small. I guess I didn't realize what 17 inch x 24 inch to look like. But that's my fault because the seller included the measurement in the description. Since there's so many included in the package, I just use a lot of them to cover the bathroom. The pads hold the pee very well. I have a small dog, so it works for me. I think it will work just as well for a baby because they don't pee as much. I just want to add one more thing because I'm sure some of you are looking at this product to be used for your elderly grandparents/parents/patients. I am not sure how useful these would be for older people. I'm a nurse, so I take care of a lot of older patients who are incontinent. These pads are definitely a lot thinner than the ones used at various hospitals and trust me, hospitals use the cheapest products possible. This is absolutely not gonna hold all of human pee. These pads are also too small for human usage. You would have to layer maybe 4 of these to get the ample amount of coverage under a person. I'm giving it 5 stars because the pads are great for my dog and that's what I bought them for. I will continue to purchase these.

Works great and can't beat the price.
These pads work great for my purposes-for an older adult rabbit who has started to refuse to go in the liter box, even though she is trained. I had been using CVS and Publix brand pads. Those brands are definately thicker & more cottony. However, the down side is that the thickness of the cotton remains like a wet, soggy diaper. So if she jumps into it at a later time it is very soggy and still sopping wet. These pads are surely THINNER than other brands, however, they still do the job. It holds the wetness and does not leak through. The thiness actually allows it to dry out. So if she wets on it durring the day and I don't change it until I get home, it is actually dried out! And has NOT leaked through. I have been using them in tandum with the thicker pads, creating a cottonly lower layer covered with these thin, cheaper ones. The lower layer is my backup. I only have to change that infrequently, compared to multiple times in a day for the upper. I am very satified to throw away 13 cent pads over 50 cent or more pads! You can rip them easily if your fingernail goes through them. But they hold up under my bunny's nails no problem. Definately worth the $13 to try 100 of them to see if they suit your needs. (If you have a big animal I would not even think about it. But large bunny, cat or small dog, no problem!)

Absorbent but smaller pad
I really like these pads. I bought them as puddle pads for my puppy. The size is perfect for my needs. They are slightly longer and much more narrow than the package that I bought from the pet store. This size is exactly what I needed. I use a kennel inside of a larger crate for my puppy, so like a small den inside a larger wire cage. I needed a pad for beside her den, but inside the wire cage. These fit perfectly. The other pads were so wide that the small den covered a large portion of the pad. But, the other pads were not large enough to cut in half. It just felt like so much waste to me. These pads are absorbent enough that they are not soaked in the morning. They outside layer of the pad still feels dry to the touch even after it has been piddled on. So I don't need to be concerned about her little feet being went with her own urine. Aside from my personal use for them they do have a more intended use...as an underpad for someone who is incontinent. I do think that they would hold the urine of a person for one per. Not more that that though. They are dry to the touch, so less skin irritation. These pads are Not bedsize. If you are looking for pads to line the bed you would need to use at least 2. For a wheel chair, though, I can see these being very nice, and more discrete than a full sized pad. The absorption is there where you need it. So I guess it's shortcomings(smaller size) is what makes it perfect for me but possibly not right for others. The price is 1/4 what I was paying in the pet store. One fourth!! What a difference for my pocketbook. And these are better suited for my needs. I will continue to buy these for as lounge as my puppy needs them.

Hygienic changing pads
I had Dynarex Underpads 17x24 in. 22 gram previously that i use on changing pad daily. I just like the convenience of use and throw. And specially if your baby tummy is not happy, these pads are God blessing when accidents happen. Saved us so many times when LO got hit with seasonal tummy viruses. Though they were thin, they served it purpose for daily use. However, size wise they were not big enough for changing baby in public restrooms. I don't like to re-use washable changing pads on public restrooms. I don't find it hygienic. So, these kind of disposable pads are convenient to use once and throw, when you use public restroom for baby. The bigger 23X36 size is perfect size for that. Also i find they are bit thicker than the 17X24 ones.(See size comparison in attached pic). At home the smaller ones are enough for changing table, as we need only for baby's bummy area. But out of home, i have bigger ones in our diaper bag. **[...] I try very hard to test all features before giving my unbiased opinion to users. Please feel free to reply to this comment, if you have any questions.

The worst “pads” on the market!!
Do not buy these for puppy pads! First of all they are very small!! (& i have an 11lb Pomeranian) albeit shes furry/fluffy. But my fur baby is an in door doggie. (While still a baby she and her dad both fell down the stairs and broke her leg) all during potty train outdoor season, needless to say w/a cast & 2 surgeries later going potty outside didn't work) she now has been so accustomed to doing her bus. on pads - she will run inside to go potty after her walks or outdoor play time! Therefore i have a very knowledgeable understanding of how these should work. These ate the worst pads i have ever purchased and this includes a dollar stores when i was in a pinch! We change after every usage and she haz no less than 6 pads down. 2 upstairs for bed time/early morning and 2 at front door and 2 at back door-wall. I even doubled in each potty area the quantity and they still do not absorb! They ripped and were falling apart after 1 urination and even with other brands we use we change the pads after every use. I had to quickly order another Set. In order to get some in this week and save both my floors and my aggravations. These are not worth even $5 my advice regardless if you plan to use for puppy training or for potty training kids ir caring for an elderly person, buy a different brand that advertises its excessive absorbency . The worst part of all of this (me trying this cheapie brand) is i didnt save a penny! When I went back on Amazon to purchase another 100 pack i looked at the 3-4 brands i usually buy, and 1 was 9 cents cheaper than these far inferior ones! Plus they are 22 inches wide not 16/17! Just dont buy these! There are plenty others on the market both in store and on Amazon for a few dollars either more or right at the same cost!!! (Ex. Walgreens often sells bogo 1/2 off) and amazon sells 3-4 brands 100 count for 15-18$. Trust me, i have saved u $ and aggravation if you pass these terrible pads (which btw are as thick as 1 pc of paper bout .10mm)

Very thin, tears easily, holds little fluid. Not for pets over 5lbs.
First off these "pads" are not really pads. They are more of a paper towel with a thin plastic backing. If a layer of papertowel backed by plastic is all you need, this is just the thing for you. The Dynarex brand underpad has some issues. First off, this pad is folded so tightly it sticks together requiring two hands and some patience to unfold it without tearing it. The backing is so thin and fragile that I have, on many occasions, put my finger nail through it while unfolding the pad. It also isn't "sealed" on all sides. If a pet were to urinate near the edge or deposit more than 6oz, the urine may leak off the pad. Since the pad is not very absorbent, your pet will probably step in it's own urine and track that onto your floors, creating the scent of urine in areas around the pad. For this reason, I really cannot recommend these pads to most pet owners. If I was needing pads for a dog I would stick with the Advance training pads. These work well for our puppies and seemn to control odor so that you can leave one out for several potty sessions. They dynarex pads do have their place, so don't write them off entirely. They are great to put down on the floor when dying your hair, or making Easter eggs, for example. They are also good for scooping up mushy messes. I am using this pad for one of our cats because I won't have cat litter in my house and she can't get out the kitty door with the "cone of shame" on her head. I put the grate portion of a sifting litterbox Van Ness Large Framed Sifting Cat Litter Pan (Assorted Colors) over the pad and the cat uses this like a regular litterbox. The grate keeps the cat's feet clean as she relieves herself. The pad is just absorbent enough to hold her urine, which isn't saying much. Be warned, if you use this for cats, you will want to throw it out immediately after a mess is made because there is no odor control. As I said, this is basically a papertowel with a plastic back. Don't expect much. Good Luck to all the pet lovers out there.

Must-Have For Baby!
These are my #1 suggested purchase for all of my friends expecting babies! They have saved me so much stress as a new mom, here's why: 1. They are light and thin-perfect size to put several in the diaper bag. Put one on top of the restroom changing table and keep those germs away from your baby! 2. I always keep one on top of my son's changing pad at home. This has saved me so much laundry! Since babies tend to pee when their diapers come off, having one of these underneath saves you from having to wash your changing pad cover every day! 3. When out and about, wrap dirty diapers in one to contain the smell. 4. When you have an especially messy or dirty diaper at home, these act as an additional scent barrier within your diaper pail. Simply wrap the dirty diaper up in this after you are finished changing baby. 5. They are reusable. Sometimes I use the same one on my son's changing table for a week without having to change it if it doesn't get messy. I have tried a few other brands from CVS, etc and they are all too thick. The thicker the pads, the more bulky they are in your diaper bag or on your changing table. These are the perfect thickness to contain the wetness or mess without being too large! They come as pictured in a bag. I have been trying to figure out a nice way to present them for a baby shower gift but have not come up with a better presentation for them yet. [email protected]

Top of my newborn must-have list
This was one of the most necessary and useful things I bought expecting. We used them literally everywhere - on the changing station where we went through them quicker than our cats go through their treats. These pads did perfect job protecting the textile cover while changing the diaper or during diaper-free time, greatly reducing the amount of laundry. We always had a couple of them in the diaper bag for changing in public places. I put them under the sheets of baby’s cocoon (and later - crib), and my own sheets (to prevent occasional milk leakage from spoiling the mattress) - I even had them in car on my way to hospital. This disposable pads were really life saviours since birth till about 4 months, then I started using thicker ones and didn't need them so often. This pads are quite thin - which is a good thing as they don't take much place in the diaper bag and they are thick enough for a newborn. I'd say that they absorb just as much as you would expect from them. Sometimes when changing in a hurry I also teared the pad but that didn't happen more often than twice in a pack of 100, so this wasn’t much of a problem for me. I'm totally happy with its quality and considering the low price they are even better than could be expected Had them on subscription for first 4 months, and now still have a pack of them just in case - and a couple in diaper bag, in the car etc. Absolutely recommended for the newborns and infants.

Great for using under our newborn for nappy changes
Great for using under our newborn for nappy changes. Highly recommend. Portable to use on the go in all public changing stations. My newborn has emptied his bladder on them and they have absorbed everything leaving the surface below dry.

Baby must have for parents at home and on the go with baby!
I use these as disposable change pad liners at home and on the go. They can be used more than once if they don't get dirty. I always have a couple in the diaper bag and it saves me time cleaning up if anything happens while changing. It's also a sanitary way to change your baby if you must use a public change table. Another tip is to use this on top of those cushiony pads that come with some diaper bags for extra padding. FYI these aren't super absorbent. They will definitely hold a baby leak and prevent it from spreading but there's just a fluff filling (they're not designed to hold a lot of liquid like the diapers or doggy pads) but they're thin and easy to use and don't take up a lot of space. Overall, I love them. They're a must have with my 6 month old and have subscribed to them along with my diapers.
