Passiflora Incarnata Seeds. AKA Purple Passion Flower/Maypop, this exceptional fast-growing perennial vine can survive winter freeze (50, Seeds)

Tried a few methods, and couldn’t get them to germinate. Maybe next year.

Would purchase again.

I tried to grow these along side 3 seeds I saved from a fruit from my vine. All three of mine germinated, struck and are growing well. NONE of these did. I bought these because I wanted to grow more vines to add to what I have.For what its worth, I believe these are actually immature seeds by the looks of them.I didn't want to say anything here without talking to the seller first. Maybe I was making some mistake, right? Anyway, they did not respond to my attempt to communicate in over a year.

Tried several times to get the seeds to sprout and more than one method. So far I have tried 14 seeds and not one has sprouted. I will keep trying, but don't expect any success. I read others had the same experience with sterile seeds including one person claiming to be an expert. Now I believe them. I originally bought the seeds because everyone was sold out of the plants. I finally found plants (not seeds) through Logees and have ordered.

Came as a stick with little buds on it and it took root and is growing like crazy

I planted all the seeds but none sprouted. Wrong time of year. Or bad seeds? This plant is notorious for seeds not sprouting so I don’t blame the company. I’ll order more for next year and try following directions this time.

I am not an amateur gardener or seed sprouter. I tried every trick I know, soaked in orange juice, soaked some in water, lightly scored seeds, tried sprouting using greenhouse method, only one of the seeds ever sprouted and unfortunately my dog got to it. Would not order again

I planted half the seeds several weeks ago and not one has sprouted. I will wait longer. If anything changes, I will update my comments. EDIT: 6 weeks later and the only thing growing is weeds
