I have a toddler; like every parent, I suffer from sleep deprivation. One night I opened a full bottle of water in my sleep, took a sip, and placed it open onto my lap at a 30 degree angle. Inevitably the bottle spilled its entire contents over my bed.This mattress protector saved my mattress. Although the water quickly went through the sodden blanket & sheets & drenched this Luna protector, my mattress was dry. I don't know how the 1-star reviews could possibly be using the same product -- this thing isn't water-resistant, it is seriously water-proof.Please note that I did spring up out of bed to get towels to put on top of the comforter & between that and my sheets, but there is no mattress protector other than a noisy & uncomfortable hospital-grade plastic protector for which eschewing towels would be anything else but an error in judgement. I didn't need to put a towel between the very wet sheets & mattress protector, however, which is itself a sign of its high quality. When it had dried it was no worse for wear; it didn't (& doesn't) look like anything had spilled on it at all.If it can protect from an entire 500ml bottle of water, it should be clear how easily it can protect from more common minor spills like diaper leakage, smaller beverage spills, etc. As a person with lifelong allergies to dust, pollen & mold I can attest to Luna's excellent protection from allergy triggers as well.Also, I have an adjustable bed. Anything even slightly bigger than a sheet will not fit over the in-built safety foot rail that holds my mattress in place when the bed moves. The mattress protector's elastic, fitted sheet-type 4 sides fit perfectly under the rail & don't impede my sheets from fitting on top of them. My one wish is that the waterproof protection covered the entire protector down the sides -- to better protect my mattress & lessen the risk of the electronics & hydraulics of my bed getting wet -- but it's not a big enough negative to remove a star given all my positive experience with it.Plus it's USA made & features a 10 year replacement warranty!I did a lot of research before buying a mattress protector. Don't bother repeating my efforts; just buy this one.

I was extremely pleased to have an effectuve product that was light and easy to wash as well as put on and take off the bed, or pillow. These have lasted a lot longer than expected. I dont think i would search again, id buy again! Highly recommended! Easy to have a few for one bed if necessary! While one isbeing laundered the other just goes on!

Great product. Easy installation, worth the money, comfortable, soft. Not as slip resistant as I wish it was but still good.

I had bought a new bed last year and the business that sold me the bed said to keep the warranty intact that I had to buy a cover for my bed, they charged me $100 dollars for the cover, which I tell you was not good quality, my bed for one thing didnt last a year and it had stains on it when nothing was ever spilled on the bed maybe sweat but the cover should have kept that from happening, so this year I bought a better bed for cheaper at a different store that sold the same brand and they said that the first company lied about needing the cover, well I wanted one anyways, it took me forever too choose one, well I chose the Luna Premium and am very happy with it, it fits my bed unlike my other cover they sold me, its not crinkly or noisy but you can feel the protective part with your hand and the top has a nice terry cloth feeling not to mention it cost me way less than the first bedding store sold me and better quality, so if you buy a bed and they say that you have to have a cover on it for the warranty do not buy it from their company buy a Luna Brand from Amazon better quality and Cheaper, Fist bed cost with cover $1000 second bed with me buying the cover myself altogether was $460, watch out for those franchises that try to get you for as much as they can, I will always be a faithful Amazon Customer, always satisfied and if I'm not satisfied Amazon makes sure I am, what a great site this is.
