Let me preface this by reminding everyone that this phone costs less than £50. That's less that a lot of people's monthly phone contract. With this you're getting a very capable, albeit budget orientated, smart phone.It comes pre-installed with Android 8 (Go Edition) and a handful of stock apps. You also have full access to the Play store so can download any new apps you'd like.Hardware-wise, you get a quad core 1.3GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built in storage (which can be expanded to 32GB via SD card). This may not seem like much, but Android Go edition apps use both less storage and memory, which means the phone doesn't feel all that sluggish compared to other budget handhelds.Whilst it would have been nice to get an HD screen, this device isn't aimed at those who would use it as a media watching device. The screen it has is bright and clear enough to make using social media and productivity apps pleasant. It still makes a decent go at displaying video files and, whilst not in HD, it was perfectly watchable.Unfortunately this phone does not come with 4G capabilities and is therefore limited to 3G. This is fairly common in budget phones so is not unexpected.Whilst the stats said 2MP front and 0.3MP rear, the device I received was 5mp front and 2mp rear. This was way more than I was expecting and allowed the phone to take very respectable photo's.The battery has been enough to last me a full day between charges, which is all I tend to get out of my premium phones too.All in all, this is serving me well as a backup phone for nights out and for activities where I dare not risk a £500+ handset. Yes, there are a lot of budget options, but this is exactly what the device is: a budget handheld. Considering the price, I can honestly not fault this thing.

Received this morning. Needed a separate phone for work. I wanted a smart phone but didn’t want to pay out. Got this phone on lightening deal. I received this morning.. absolute rubbish. Looks decent but phone kept switching on and off even though fully charged... also rejected my pin even though I know it was 100 percent correct as I use it for all devices. In the process of sending back. Not fit for purpose

Brought for a local homeless guy. Does the job ok for him but it is slow to process once it gets going.
