EVANESCENCE - Greatest Hits (Original 2 CDs Set in Digipack)

I totally love evenscence. Her music is great. I loved this cd set not only was the price good but it had every one of my favorite songs. Cheaper then buying 2 cds seperately

Honestly I write this review not as a customer but as a collector and a HUGE Evanescence fan. Main point before I say anything: This CD is not authentic in any way. It was released in Russia by a company that specializes in bootlegs and fake CDs. I do not own this, nor have I ever listened to it for quality purposes, but can honestly say, if you spend $130-$200 on a case with some fancy artwork (which is about all this amounts to when you could very easily make a CD-R and it would be just as snazzy), then you are a fool. I've been lately doing a lot of research on their older stuff, and stumbled on this. When I saw the price, my mouth dropped. I figured I stumbled across a rarity, since Evanescence is probably the Queen of Rarities. I did my research, just before getting suckered into paying a fortune for scraps, and thank goodness I did. There are a lot of rarities out there, Mystary, Evanescence EP, Origin, Sound Asleep/Whisper EP, but this is as valuable as the case it's in and the art that they probably put on the disc. Save your $200 or so for if you ever come across a real rarity, and leave this piece of garbage where it lays.

Most of the songs on this 2 disk set are great quality for a bootleg, however, none of the tracks match the songs on the one I received, and the older songs still listed on the back cover and on the CD's when played from "Not For Your Ears", and "IN The Shadows" have been replaced with the more recent hits from "The Open Door" and "Fallen". Disappointing to say the least, I bought this set to get the older songs that are hard to get. I ripped them to my media player and had to edit all the titles to match the actual songs.

I am really enjoying this cd. The melodies are soothing, the lead singer's voice is hauntingly beautiful. I highly recommend this artist.

This is a bogus bootleg CD. Don't waste your money and support the illegal bootleggers. These tracks can all be found on the band's current releases. You can find their indie release ORIGIN for free and it has a much better quality. This CD shouldn't even be on Amazon!

Is there a way to report items on Amazon? Evanescence, let alone windup records never released a greatest hits, it's clearly fan made and this is in breach of so many copyright laws
