Okay so my criteria:Needs to be microwaveableNeeds to be partitioned roughly 50%, 25%, 25%Check!There are a ton of portion control plates on Amazon. I'd say 98% of them are made of melamine/plastic. No bueno for microwaving. Reason for needing microwaving: I prep larger batches of food, I'll eat all the food, I hate doing dishes. If I had to heat up food in a separate plate then put it on the portion control plate...more dishes, PLUS I'll put all the extra food (if I don't measure it right in the "heat up" bowls) on there too. So much for portion control.Just an FYI: This plate is perfect for mens portion control. Approx 2 fists worth (for veggies) fits in the larger section. 1-1.5 palms of protein in the smaller section and a 1-1.5 cupped hands carbs fit in the other smaller section.I'd say guys should buy the square plate, ladies could use the round plate (same product, just select the round one) as it will have smaller sections. Perfect for 1 fist, 1 palm, 1 cupped hand.Oh, quality on the plate is good. It's solid.

Claims it’s a 4 piece set, even says one quantity is four pieces mid page. It’s not. $45 gets you one plate. Ridiculous

These plates are so shallow, they serve no purpose if you actually want things sectioned/divided! I returned them, it was acknowledged I had and still 3 weeks later I do not have a credit. I don't recommend Flying Balloon at all!

Nice thick sturdy plates that have adult-sized portion areas. perfect for that person in your life that never grew out of insisting their food does not touch.

This plate is useful! And it improves the taste of my meals.I like my rice dry - so that it retains its texture.This plate keeps the rice separated from the sauce-y vegatables.I just scoop a little rice over the rim, add a little veg, and I'm good to go.The sections are somewhat shallow, but deep enough for the sauce I use.Would it work for soup? No.Does it work for sauce on veggies? YesWould it work for a super saucy tikka masala which is practically like a soup? To a point. If you want soup, get a bowl.Are these dishwasher safe? Supposedly. I'd like to know the answer to that question.I gave it 5 stars for durability anyway-- they seem very durable.A bonus -- these are fairly thick plates, with more 'sides' than a normal plate (peace-sign sections have additional sides, of course). Thus, this plate seems to hold heat better than other plates, and keeps my food warmer a bit longer. I usually put in microwave with a little water for 60 seconds. Works well.However, if you have a heating stone...maybe corelle conducts heat better. fwiw.But as a plate to keep toast or rice comletely dry, and not soggy with other moister things on the plate, and also keeps all foods warm, this is an enjoyable plate. I did buy a 2nd one, since the first was going well.I don't love it, but I like what it does and use it all the time now. I do wish the sides were a touch steeper/deeper.

Loving these so far!Currently on a weight management program, so I have to weigh/portion everything. As you can see in my picture, when I had a cup of fruit for breakfast it filled the large portion perfectly.But, I'm also one of those people that doesn't like things to touch on my plate. So this is a win win for me.Heavier Ceramic.Cleaned easily both by hand, and in the dishwasher.Blend in nicely with my current white dining set, when stored in the cabinets.

Great for leftovers. Great quality! Just what we needed...price is a little much. (Would be nice if you could order several and get a cut on the price.)
