Question 1

Why does it say ships in certified frustration-free packaging, i want the original meze box, does this then opens the original packaging and ships?

Accepted Answer

Hello George,Thank you for asking and I hope this answer will eliminate any doubts about this questions.Amazon Certified Frustration-Free Packaging is recyclable and comes without excess packaging materials. The product inside is the same, and everything is included in the Certified Frustration-Free Packaging that would be in the original manufacturer's packaging. So, yes you will receive the original Meze Headphones box.It will be inside of the Amazon's standard packaging carton. If you have questions left, feel free to contact me.Thank you,Razvan H.

Question 2

What dac do u recommend? Try to keep it under $100.

Accepted Answer

Hello,I would recommend you the FiiO E10K USB DAC and Headphone Amplifier for $75.99 or Nano - iUSB3.0 dac but the price for this product is 168$ on Amazon. This may be the best option for you but you should listen to one before purchasing because in this way you will feel/hear what's the best option for you.If you have questions left, feel free to contact us.Regards,Razvan H.

Question 3

Are these on ear or over ear?

Accepted Answer

Hello Mr. Norman,The Meze99Classics series are an over ear model of headphones. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me and I would be more than glad to answer.Regards,Razvan H.

Question 4

Can you game with this (ps4,pc,xbox1)

Accepted Answer

While the Meze 99 Classics are not designed to be a "gaming headset", they do include a 3.5mm cable that includes a microphone. So if the source you're using them with is a 3.5mm cable with an integrated mic connection, they may work. But if it is a USB connection or if you need to make separate connections for the audio and the mic, they won't work. Hope that makes sense!
