Nice, simple, sturdy.
We recently bought a house, and I'm slowly getting everything to my tastes. I've had these candles for 15 years, never lit, still smell great (a little faded - they used to permeate the whole room), and have many memories attached to them. They're a little wide, and I knew these wouldn't quite fit, but I couldn't find anything that would that suit what I was going for. So I got these and some little mirrors at a certain Hobby store, and used a little E6000 to adhere the mirrors to the tops of these. I love how it all turned out - for less than $20. Now to figure out what to do with the little 5th one! Anyway, these are strong metal. The prongs are very slightly bent inwards, otherwise the candles would *just* fit. (The square ones are 2 13/16th inches wide, and do actually fit, but the round do not, at 3 3/8th inches. It's quite close, though.) Because they are tripods, yes, there is a possibility of tipping, but that physics, not a flaw. Sure, a wider base would help fight that, but I appreciate that they are skinnier and don't take up a lot of space.

Size sucks
I honestly got fooled from this product I was expecting bigger size like the picture in front of a fire place and they were so small I could only laugh still sitting in the box in my closet wasted money
