Patanjali GULKAND Rose 400g

I was astonished by the price but unfortunately there are no shops close by that sell it.I had bought it to make paan but ended up eating it out of the tub. I know, I know, it’s essentially sugar in a tub.Since it’s essentially rose petals and sugar I don’t know why it’s so expensive.My other issue is that you don’t know where the rose petals are grown e.g are pesticides used? Are they from flowers that have started to dry out etc?I think next time I’ll try making it at home ( once I have a garden!!!!)However, it’s saving grace is that it does taste great so it earned extra stars for that.
