Easy to assemble, once you figure it out - needs better instructions
All in all, I'm pleased with this cart - I purchased it to hold my new printer for my home office, and it does that, so I'm pleased in that respect.Putting it together was the time-consuming and annoying part. The assembly directions are just drawings with no written instructions, so when it comes to putting this together, let me give a little advice:1) the little black plastic clips marked "top" are the pieces that will hold the shelves in whatever position you want them. The instructions make it look like they should clip together completely around each leg on the cart - like they should lock together when you place them. They won't. They only lock together when you slide the shelf down over them. Don't drive yourself nuts trying to make them click together before you put the shelf on - it won't happen.2) When putting the shelves in place, slide them down over the aforementioned plastic clips until you hear a "click" of the clips slipping into one of the grooves on the cart leg and snapping together under the pressure of the shelf being pushed down. This might take a little effort, but not a lot. These are the 2 bits of info that would have saved a lot of time and frustration when assembling, for me.

Inconsistent manufacturing sours an otherwise competent cart
This cart was the perfect height for holding my computer and networking equipment underneath my desk, however the manufacturing is very inconsistent. My adventure started with a smashed box full of loose parts rattling about, and enough clips were shattered so I could only put together 2/3 shelves. I contacted Honey-Can-Do and they sent out replacement clips within days -- however, the clips they sent don't match this cart. (Just for reference, they sent me H-C-D SHF-01133.) I followed-up and the customer support staff was apologetic that part was all they sell (i.e. they're probably importing resale packages, and not doing the actual manufacturing), and to take it up with Amazon.I got a replacement cart, this time perfectly packaged with nothing damaged; but to my irritation, the clips for that cart didn't properly fit the poles! The original (damaged) cart's clips attached snugly together and the shelves would sit flush with the clip; the clips on this replacement cart couldn't snap together on the pole and the shelves sat ~0.5" above the clip. (Some of the clips would even slide down once weight was added, not holding the shelf securely.)It turned out the original cart's poles are just slightly narrower than the replacement cart's, and the replacement cart's clips had inconsistent diameters as well. I ended up mixing & matching clips from the replacement cart until I found clips that connected snugly together; and returned the leftovers. The clips that come with each cart also came in multiple packages, sometimes 4 complete sets, sometimes only 2, sometimes even 1.5 (although the total came out correct). I wonder if they're sourcing from multiple clip manufacturers, and that's why the seemingly random packaging of clips and inconsistent construction/functionality.At any rate, after cherry picking the clips that actually worked, my cart was finally assembled, and works as I expected it should have from the start. One star knocked off for making me pick & choose from a second cart's parts, and another for the hassle of repackaging a cart for return.I like this cart and it (eventually) did what it's supposed to, but I'd be hesitant to order another storage unit from Honey-Can-Do; because every other storage rack I've assembled before fit perfectly correct the first time and didn't have such inconsistently matching parts.

Something of a Find
I'm very happy with this cart, and two reasons stand out: its sturdiness and its size. It's a very clever design, and the parts are of high quality. The result is a rigid structure that's perfect for applications like mine: support for a wide-carriage "pro" printer that can be placed on the top shelf without the somewhat massive printhead action causing side-to-side sway. The size is a difficult one to find elsewhere. In my case I needed to replace a cheap TV cart made of low-density fiberboard and formica. I was using it to support not only the aforementoned wide printer on top but also a laser printer and scanner on the lower shelf. Any replacement would have to be almost the same size because of my office setup. I was ready to give up -- most shelving/carts like these are dimensioned in multiples of 12 inches -- but then I found this guy (the 16x28). Perfect! A little taller than the crumbling TV cart, but that's OK. I gained a third shelf for supplies that previously lived on the carpet under the cart. One problem (for me): Carts like these have no sides onto which you can stick things -- in my case USB hubs. The solution was fairly simple: pegboard material cut to size, held in place with toggle bolts (with shortened screws). One caution: unlike wood shelf units, which typically have uniform shelf width front to back, carts like these have tubing at the four corners that you might need to take into account. If your printer, for example, is a tight fit on one of the lower shelves, it might fit fine and work fine but not allow you to pull out the paper supply drawer if you can't skooch it over. The inner post-clearing distances for the shelves in this case is about 25.5 inches (left-to-right as pictured) and about 13.5 inches (front-to-back as pictured).Regarding ease of assembly... Yes, the instructions are terse, but it's not rocket science. If you have a third-grader in the house, you should be fine. All in all, a very satisfactory purchase and a good value.

Fits my needs perfectly
Sturdy, well-finished, easy to assemble. I was concerned that it might be damaged because everything was loose in the carton (the plastic shipping tie had broken), but there were no scratches or marks. The pictorial assembly instructions leave a lot to be desired but the Honey-Can-Do CRT-03937 page has a video and since the only difference is this is a 3 tier it's a great help. I have a small space so the bottom shelf will hold my inkjet printer and the top my TV which means the second shelf is quite high, but there is enough room for a DVR.

Economical Shelving
I bought this to use as a winter plant stand in front of a sliding door. Being able to roll it out of the way was essential. As you can see from the picture I only used 2 of the shelves, but even with only two the unit is rock steady. Warning - with the casters on the unit is only 26" high by 28" wide (which was what I wanted); this is smaller than many other units Simple to put together; similar to all other other "bread rack" shelving. Just be careful of the "top" on the shelf clips and you'll have no problems at all.Did I mention the price was great?

Great little shelf
Very well made once assembled. I was skeptical at first because of the clips that hold the shelves in place but they have been holding. I have a whole lot of paper on each shelf, which isn’t light, and the shelves have been holding up without a problem. I keep the cart under the desk with my printer and it fits great and no problem rolling it out.If my opinion changes in the future, I will be back to update my review.

Smaller than expected
I know the measurements are posted, but it still seemed a lot smaller once we actually received it.A few of the plastic pieces were broken or broke as we were trying to assembled. It's a good thing we didn't need all of them. Product is ok otherwise, it's primary use is to hold a projector.
