Vital Pet Lipids for Cats & Dogs 4oz

Usually I order directly from Vitality Science but this time I ordered via amazon so I could write them a review. I have been very pleased with my purchases over the past 6 months or so and highly recommend them.I was made aware of this company by my holistic vet who suggested I get their cancer care holistic protocol for my cat who had been diagnosed with a type of sarcoma. He said it would go well with his more traditional pharmaceutical protocol. Sadly my kitty was too far along and the cancer was very aggressive and there was just nothing that could be done. But I had the remainder of his Vitality Science Advanced Immune products (the above as well as their Celloquent, a "unique formulation of enzymes, probiotics, green algae, and essential nutrients " and the Herbal Anti-Inflammatory which contains Venus Fly Trap.) My cats love the Lipids so much I have used up the small bottle which came with the set of three and placed this order for two large bottles. I incorporate all three with their food to keep them optimal and hopefully healthy for a long time to come. And the krill makes the oil a very pretty color but it stains so be careful. ;)))As for customer service they are very accessible, friendly and helpful. My items were here within days packaged safely. When I run out of the others I am sure I will be back for more. They have remedies and support for all types of issues not all as serious as what O had. The things we do for our beloved pets... :)))PS I just saw that another reviewer was critical of the glass bottle as the oil made it slippery. Easy fix? Put a rubber band around it a few times and keep it on a paper towel on a plate in the fridge.

I am very pleased to say that this product can really help animals with serious health issues. We are currently fighting for the life ot a elderly cat (14 years old) which was otherwise healthy but suddently got diagnosed with cancer (tumor on the belly) and also kidney failure. The doctors did not give much (or any) hope that the cat can get any better. The problem was that due to the kidney failure problems and bad blood tests as a result of that doctors said it won't survive an operation for removal of the tumor. After treating with the product (and of course daily visit to the vet for a week for fluid infusion) the blood test came much much better and an operation to remove the tumor was possible. Now i know that the fluid infusion helpted as well but i highly reccomend the product. We will continue our fight for Emmy's life. Thank you. Also - dont always listen to the vets when they start talking about putting your little furry friend to sleep, you have nothing to lose, try these products and see how your cat or dog will react.

I know this product is for the health of the dog and not supposed to be something they yearn for, but my dog won't touch any food that is near this oil. Smells very fishy.Also, I had to buy a second bottle because the first one broke. It has to be stored in the fridge. Because it is glass, it can get a little slippery, especially with the small cap. Plus, it has oil being poured out of it, which can make the bottle a bit slippery too if some runs down the side. And what a mess it makes. The glass shards were everywhere, and the oil is hard to pick up..... it's oil, not water based.I can't speak to the effectiveness of the product, but I will say that my dog is currently into week 7 or a 6 week terminal diagnosis from Lymphoma. She seems to be doing quite well. So I'll keep doing what I'm doing (which also includes Apocaps)

My 11 1/2 year old mini schnauzer has a variety of ailments including IDB and Cushings, high cholesterol and a tendency for schnauzer bumps on his back: that being said he is pretty well controlled and energetic with meds and prescription diet. I wanted to add a lipid supplement to extend this quality of life and keep him energetic. After trying a few different types of oils and products I found this product through researching best oils for pets (krill). Other omega oil products had a tendency to go bad and also effect his sensitive stomach. I don't give him the full dose yet but I do give him a heaping 1/4 of a teaspoon a day with his dinner. Product is messy so you have to be careful but it was pretty amazing how much it made a difference, a little sparkle in him that I haven't seen before and his skin and poops are great. We call him General Krill now, because he is so full of it! Would recommend to anyone who loves to see their best furry friends thrive :)

All of the Vitality Science products that I have tried are great! I have three cats. The products for Gastro-Intestinal health saved one of my cats from sure death. The Vital Pet Lipids should only be given after the GI problems have been corrected. I gave this to my other two cats and it improved their coats and gave them more energy. All of my cats are around 13 years old. My only problem with this product was my own fault. I did not read the package instructions completely and did not refrigerate after I opened the product. I even gave a little to one of my cats before I saw the instructions, luckily for us he did not get sick. I had to throw out the product (almost the whole bottle) and I will have to purchase it again. I will read more carefully next time. I cannot say enough good things about Vitality Science products. I also use them myself.

I've been ordering from Vitality Science for a few years. I take care of outside kitties, so it is difficult to watch them all day, but so far I've noticed that their coats are very beautiful, shiny, they have lots of energy.Eyes are very bright.

I have two five pound Maltese, so they get a minimal amount, not that it matters. There is no easy way to get the liquid out of the bottle. It is too thick for a syringe, so you are forced to pour it, and then it runs all down the side of the bottle. If it had a real wide opening to the bottle, then you could fit a measuring spoon down in the bottle to get the amount you need. Very messy, and a waste of product as it is currently bottled.

yes, for a maine coon cat, this provides needed strength for his heart and wonderful back-up for his hair and eye health. As a cat who has a intestinal tumor, this is of great benefit I believe.
