With not too many options for introductory Spanish Linguistics textbooks, this one is by far the best. Este libro es súper interesante. Prepárate para leer y dedicarle tiempo a cada capítulo porque son mucho conceptos que cubrir. En algunas partes no está bien en claro los conceptos pero después muestra ejemplos y actividades para que entiendas más. Además, al final del capítulo muestra un resumen de las cosas más importantes de cada capítulo.

This textbook has lots of good information, explanations, examples, comparisons to English and other languages, etc. However, like all linguistics material, I think, the information is so technical and specialized that it takes a lot of focus to read and digest it. I read each chapter in a piece-by-piece manner. There is so much to learn and so many specialized vocabulary terms that you really cannot sit down and read a chapter straight through. You have to stop and take a break and go back and read some parts more than once... Take your time with this text.

Excelente para un tema súper complicada

This book was required for "Introduction to Spanish Linguistics". It is a detailed volume, entirely in Spanish, and guides the reader in a logical manner through the study of linguistics. The best part about it is the exercises. I wouldn't recommend it for an introductory course, as it took time deciphering the very dense tone.

This book was quite comprehensive and reading it improved my Spanish, especially the morphology chapter. The Spanish in the U.S. chapter was also good.

Compulsory purchase for a university Linguistics course. This is a comprehensive grammar textbook with exercises to help cement the knowledge you gain from the chapters. The Kindle version is sometimes tricky to navigate and the style is not as concise as it could be, but the book has helped me to pass the course with a good mark.

Excellent condition, fast shipping in Italy, amazing price.

Very disappointed with how this reads and how difficult it is to access it. All the page numbers are different making it almost incompatible with class work. This was not what I wanted. How do I return this?
