Nice cable
I wanted a new 10-ft ethernet cable. I suddenly had a need for a cable of this length, and the one I already had was maybe 15 years old and looked pretty bad. The cable sits partially on my desk, and I got tired of looking at my old cable which looked like it had been rescued from a dumpster. I figured I'd buy a new one and keep the old one for a spare.I was looking for a 10-ft Cat5e cable with this type of connector (the kind with no guard on the clip). I don't like Cat6 cables because the connectors are usually too tight, and I don't like the cables with the rubber boot around then clip because they're sometimes really hard to release if the cable is connected in a recessed port.I previously bough StarTech's sata cables, and they seemed to be high quality.I was not disappointed with this Cat5e cable from them. It is supple and appears to be high quality.

Did not work with IP camera but works fine with my computer
Did not work with my NVR camera. However, works fine with my computer. Maybe not Cat 5e but only Cat 5?

Good value, surprising quality for price
I was surprised by the initial quality of this cable based on how inexpensive it is. Often times a cheap Ethernet cable, like the ones from a certain large store chain that rhymes with Stalltart, will come out of the packaging with stiff curls in it from being wound in a coil. This cable was in similar packaging but straightened out right away. The sheathing is more supple than I expected, and the rubber a little softer, but it doesn't seem weak because of it. This meant that the cable went right where I wanted it to go and laid nice and straight right out of the package. I appreciated that. The ends are well finished and well terminated. I'd buy it again.

Great to find very short ethernet cables
I have two of these now, one to connect my WISP antenna to my router, and the other to connect my VoIP box to the router. Snaking coils of cables quickly become cat toys here, so a tidy installation is preferred for that reason on top of the need to keep the computer equipment neat. Color-coding is handy, so it's quick to differentiate among devices. The cable releases aren't sheathed or armored, so be aware that they'll require the standard care in handling.

Does the job great cable
Just received this plugged into my rav power portable wifi router only needed this short cable extremely well made keeps wires to a minimum also useful if out and about and if a portable wifi system is required with ethernet cable (you never know when it could come in handy) thus is small enough to carry in a every day carry without masses of cable in your bag or pockets it says in the description it can increase the signal by 15ft i have NEVER heard of that before so im highly dubious about it but otherwise its great well made came quickly i would highly recommend the seller just PERFECT FOR MY NEEDS buy it you won't regret it although its not very flexible but that can be an advantage due to the connection not splitting at the joints this will last several years without failing hope this review helps you all

Really good ethernet cable
I have a laptop about 10 feet away from my router. The Wi-fi is okay but with a static line connected, there's less chance of losing the connection, so this cable was perfecet for that. I also got longer than I needed so that I can tuck it out of sight from my Cockatiel as she really seems to like finding cables to chew :)

Cheaper and more reliable than wireless
I found it very difficult for some reason to estimate how much cable I needed.I have had a lot of problems with my wireless connection and I seriously considered changing my ISP from TalkTalk to o2. However I realised that this would be really quite expensive. In comparison buying another length of cable is a much cheaper alternative.I have just ordered a second length of cable. Amazingly it is much cheaper in blue!Cheaper, faster, more reliable, and technically easier to set up, than wireless! Why don't more people use cable? Because I might have to drill a hole in a wall.I would have liked to have master the full complexity of wireless but life is too short.Possibly now I can get a GigaByte router Billion BiPAC 7800N Dual WAN ADSL2+/Broadband Wireless-N Gigabit Firewall Modem Router If I just have to worry about the router and not the wireless side, then I can probably find a cheaper alternative. Good quality
I used this to connect a power-line network adapter to my PC. The cable seems good quality and the connectors have a nice positive click. In my experience it's no stiffer than any other decent ethernet cable so I wouldn't worry about the flexibility unless you have an unusually tight space to work in.

Stay connected!
I needed to patch from my router in one room, through a wall and behind the TV in another room. Colour was not really that important but I went for white in case anything needed tacking to skirting or be on show. As it turned out, it was almost all concealed, but, the cable did what an ethernet cable should.
