Very warm and comfortable. The pull cords allow you to tighten the hat to your size/comfort level.

Warm and cozy

Fits an adult head adequately and covers forehead and ears well. A chin strap/ closure for a more secure fit would have been a bonus. Soft fleece fabric is a plus and thicker than expected. Stitching and detailing is good. A bit odd looking but keeps the wind and cold off. Has two rear fit adjustment cables for a customized fit. Recommended.

I bought this as a costume piece but also to wear in the cold. This hat is so wide. It has an adjustable band to fit smaller and normal sized heads but I was truly shocked (and still am) to see how wide this opens. I think this is the most indiscriminatory-toward-heads sized hat I have ever encountered.

I have a large head (baseball caps usually fit on the last 2-3 nobs) and the large fits perfect. Best uses for this hat are sitting in a hunting blind, watching sports outdoors, or other low output activities. I take this hat into the backcountry when it's 20-30F to use when sitting around camp or sleeping at night. I could wear it in much lower temperatures if needed . and still be comfortable. If you wear this while hiking, walking, etc. your head will sweat profusely. You may look like a football player from the 1940s, but you'll be warm and cozy. I mostly buy name brand clothing, but this hat is an exception. Highly recommend!

These hats are thick and warm. They have some drawstrings that kind of help with their fit. But they do come well down over your ears and your onto your neck. I always have trouble with winter hats riding up on my head and these do that also but not as bad as most other hat do

Doesn’t ride up like knit caps!

Thick fleece on this hat, with generous ear flaps that cover ears well - but be aware this hate fits LARGE. I'm pretty sure I will be wearing another fleece hat underneath it.
