She challenges you, guides you and encourages you to go all in and be bold with your creativity. To create with the Holy Spirit. And points you in the right direction to find freedom. She speaks life to the broken areas and helps overcome the lies. This devotional can be life changing for all those wounded creatives out there.Right when someone tells me they want to grow in their creativity, I instantly recommend this book. Doing this devotional is worth it! The challenges are ones that can be done over and over again. You can keep working through this book even after going through it once and not get bored.God uses this book to equip you in way you never thought possible. You'll not only become courageous but a Creative Ninja and that's pretty cool.

To review this as merely a book seems inadequate. Courageous Creative is a series of experiences which purposefully seek out your creativity, while simultaneously connecting you with the Creator. To every “wounded creative,” all who believe they are not creative and those who continuously create, this experience will meet you exactly where you are at and cultivate and champion your growth.

You have been given a purpose and a dream that only you can fulfill and God uses this book to stir that in you. My husband and I bought 2 of these devotionals and did it together, it has been so fun and challenging in unexpected ways! This is so do-able and not over whelming at all from novice crafters to graphics people or professionals in the arts arena. It awakens your creativity, grows your knowledge, helping God ignite a healing on your wounds as well. Jenny Randle is so real, funny, and makes the journey exciting. If you skip a day just keep going doing what you can...it will be worth it. God will use this study to spark you! If you do anything do this!

This 31 day interactive devotional was all it promised to be and more. The devotional content was God centered, challenging, thought provoking, and encouraging. My relationship with Christ has grown in ways I did not realize were missing until I started this book. My understanding of who I am in Him has increased my joy and my creativity. The creative challenges issued each day were never easy, but always fulfilling. Each assignment not only stretched my creativity, it pushed me out of my comfort zone in a way that was rewarding and taught me much about myself and my God. I cannot remember what caused me to buy this book, but I am ever so grateful I did. Everyone can not only learn from this book but grow as well. I cannot possibly recommend it any higher.

Courageous Creative is an AMAZING book! Jenny Randle is an anointed "Creative Whisperer." This book was the catalysis for me to RE-stir up (stir up again) the gifts of creativity I'd hidden for many years. This book is for ALL creatives. While it does not focus on a specific genre, it provides insight to the Creator of creation, the Giver of creativity - our Heavenly Father, who inspires the implementation of various creative genres in the earth. As I completed the 31-day interactive devotional, I realized that not only did I gain my "get up and create" back, but I gained community. Thanks Jenny!!!

I fully enjoyed the journey of Courageous Creatives. I am thoroughly convinced that God, the ultimate Creator, wants us to experience our own creative nature imprinted by Him. Jenny’s book challenged me creatively but more important, spiritually. I looked forward to each new day and exercise..even the ones that fell outside my creative focus. It was very encouraging and not overwhelming.

This book is more than an activity or a devotional, it’s an encounter! Jenny draws you into the mystery and beauty of being authentically you. The joy and confidence in being who you were created to be is something you can experience no matter where you are in your journey. This book is exceptional.
