I've been taking this for 6 weeks and here is my very candid review....EDITED UPDATE 12/8/23: It has now been nearly 8 months of use and I'm back with an update but read the full original review (below) for context. I have now lost 17 lbs and the ONLY change in my life has been DHEA. I have researched extensively and can NOT find evidence to support my theory that DHEA is helping me lose weight. In fact, all studies suggest the contrary - weight gain. However, studies also suggest DHEA assists with insulin resistance. I find this interesting as I no longer crave sweets. I am a former soda junkie and candy bar queen. Now, I take a bite and there is no satiety and so I never want it anymore. So I can only assume the DHEA has stabilized my insulin (wasn't aware I may have been insulin resistant) and therefore I no longer crave sweets and hence over 8 months, I have consumed less sugar / calories and BOOM... down 17 lbs. I'm not medically trained but am an avid researcher of all things I consume. I'm not offering medical advice here and am myself perplexed I am getting this wonderful benefit. I think this proves how different our bodies are and what works for some may not work for others. My annual physical is in Feb and I'm excited to see what my glucose and cholesterol levels will be as they were just slightly elevated last year. As someone with a family history (but no personal history) of heart disease and diabetes - this feels like divine intervention with no adverse side effects (at least not for me). I'll update one last time after my bloodwork results come back in Feb and I hope all these details will prove helpful to someone.I am in my 50's and in menopause (surgically induced). My hormone doctor wanted to put me on a RX that had potential for serious side effects, including heart related issues. I declined after a considerable amount of research and weighing the pros/cons. But... something had to be done and my during my research, I learned about DHEA.I started taking 25mg (1 tablet) per day for 10 days to be sure I would have no adverse side effects. Since, I've been taking 50 mg (2 tablets) per day and just finished week 6. During that time, I have experienced very positive results that include: more energy (quite noticeable in fact), less brain fog, better mood, and a little better sleep quality. Absolutely has been a game changer for me and with zero side effects.Now... I recently (within the last 2 weeks) noticed another possible benefit - weight loss. For those of you who are 40+ and/or menopausal, you know it is virtually impossible to lose weight. I eat well and am somewhat active (recreationally) but the scales won't budge. Two weeks ago, my husband asked if I was losing weight so I weighed myself and sure enough... 7 lbs down. This week I weighed myself and I was down another 2 lbs. The reason I believe it is likely a benefit of the DHEA is because that is the ONLY change I've made in the last 6 weeks. I am eating the same... my physical activity level is the same, etc.I plan to continue taking the DHEA for the health benefits (increased energy, better mood, better sleep, etc) but if the weight continues to slowly melt away... I'll welcome that blessing too! So thankful I did extensive research and took this route vs the RX that had a plethora of side effect risks.

Product is a bit strong for me, as a woman. My chin grew a few too many hairs. I now take every other day.
