Fixed my problem of zone bypass. Added enough resistance to keep my indirect water heater from overheating when my longest zone run was calling for heat.

I tried tape and pipe thread sealant, but still can't stop leak. The spring is too strong for good flow when using a hot water recirculator. I install days after 30 days so now I can't return.
