Rem Oil Change Is Never Good
DISSAPOINTED. I thought I was purchasing the old Rem oil to find out no longer with Teflon. Would not of waisted my money on it . Once they change something its never as good. Sorry Remington you won't suck me in again !

The BEST rust-preventer for firearms AND hand tools!
Have used this stuff for years to lube and protect my firearms. Now that I'm living in the tropics (Puerto Rico--where I'm firearm-free) I use this to keep my handtools from rusting. I use Rem cloth, Hoppe's wipes, and sometimes just a few drops of Rem oil to protect all my handtools (wrenches, pliers, saws, etc) from the ever-present humidity here. Many tools (saws, especially) come with a coat of protective lubricant on them, but not always. WD-40 has its uses, but I much prefer Rem oil to protect my guns and my handtools from rust over the long term.

Where’s the Teflon?
The bottle pictured says the oil contains Teflon, the one I received looks similar but does not contain that extra lubricant. Bait and switch? I’d like to think not but beware if you order. I like that it’s clear and that it’s very low odor. I prefer the two step pre-CLP method of gun cleaning and this is a fine lubricant for that but likely shorter lasting without Teflon.
