Is this product freewheel?

The picture of the "sprocket assembly" shown on Amazon is a cassette. A freewheel screws onto the bike hub and the freewheel is built into the sprocket assembly. In a cassette the freewheel is built into the bike hub.

Will this work on a genesis v2100?

I've looked at the specifications and the photos for the genesis v2100 mountain bike. Since your bike is a 21 speed bike with Shimano parts and it's a triple front chain set, it would need a 7 speed rear cluster, I would think that this would work. But I don't know for sure. The best I can recommend is that you buy one and compare to what you have. If it looks similar in cog size and range, my best guess is that it would work since Shimano parts tend to work with other Shimano parts. I have several bikes with Shimano parts and this has always been the case. It's one of the reasons why I use them. I hope this helps.
