I purchased this for a 3/4 drive impact wrench to work on my semi truck. The bolts were tighter than I anticipated so I had to go to my 1 inch drive impact to loosen the bolts, the universal joint worked fine and did not break even with the bigger wrench on it. Good buy for the money.

These did not meat my expectations broke very quickly especially when used with an impact which is what the are supposed to be intended for

it works great I have used it about a dozen times the pin held up and I have used it to change steering gear boxes and trailer landing gear and it has held up also I have used it on a snap on 3/4 impact and ir impact

Built like a tank with a steel ball socket retainer - LOVE IT!
Love the spring loaded socket retention ball. And I hate spring loaded socket retention studs, I ruined many an ink pen having to depress the stud to get the socket to release.

Good quality, but a little bulky compared to others.Edit: it is may 2022. I have had this universal since March 2018 as a HD mechanic/Millwright. It has been well used as you can see from the wear. However today it just broke the pin. So I increased my rating... 4 years from a $60 universal in heavy industry is pretty good value. So it deserves a good rating despite the broken pin. Apparently it has a lifetime warranty so I will be contacting sunnex and trying to get it replaced.Just so you know. The collar can slide back and you can put a bolt in place of the pin to finish your day. That’s what we did and now this broken universal is back to work 15minutes later. Albeit a little scarred up from using a cold chisel to remove the collar.
