Dhiammara (Artefacts of Power)
Product ID: 96315589
Aurian faces bitter defeat. She has failed to master the Sword of Flame, her only defence against the forces of evil. But she has also unleashed the deadly, unpredictable Phaerie upon the world, and the end of that is unknowable. And now she must journey through time itself...Eliseth, the coldly ambitious Mage who has been Aurian's nemesis since her first days in Nexis, has captured both the Sword of Flame and Anvar, Aurian's soulmate. Now, Aurian and a few allies travel into an uncertain future. Knowing she must defeat Eliseth, who controls the Cauldron of Rebirth, without destroying the world, Aurian is faced by many dilemmas before she finally reaches the ancient Dragon City of Dhiammara. There, in the home of the extinct fire lizards, a final conflict will take place, in which Aurian must triumph or die. Review: Excellent Fantasy!!! - Loved this series by Maggie Furey. Almost sad that it had to end. Great use of magic with a cool twist in how her world works. I would recommend this book and the series to any avid fantasy readers. Review: fab - I love these books, they are brilliantly written, a pure escapism. Just what you need from a good fantasy novel.

Worth a read
I feel that this book is worth a read if you have read and enjoyed the others in the series. I'm happy that I read this book and finished the series; however the ending feels very rushed. The last part of the book feels very different to how the books are written throughout as they are usually quite descriptive. Also there are some characters who are mentioned and then seem to be forgotten about as they are not mentioned again leaving you to draw your own conclusions. Overall I enjoyed reading the series but feel that a more descriptive conclusion is needed for me to give it a five star review.
