The sound is very nice. The waves bounce off the floor very nicely, which one can appreciate best if one played in a standing position. A microphone amplifies the sound impressively. The instrument is heavy, but one gets used to it. The bag is a very good accessory. One possible improvement on it would be to include an internal pocket for the screwdriver.

Great instrument but a bit heavy
The head is made out of a thick almost rubbery feeling material. It sounds good but doesn't feel anything like drum head that I'm used to. Also the unit is a bit heavy. Sounds great though!

Missing tuning key. If delivered later I'll review the feedback and the pandeiro looks good for samba.

Good instrument but a little bit heavy
This is a wonderful instrument. I love playing it and it has a wonderful sound. Sounds really authentic. The only reason I did not give it a five rating is that it is very heavy and for long periods of time it will become heavier. I wish it was a little bit less heavy.
