Excellent product.

Tried mincing bacon slices cut into strips across the grain with the coarse grate and spent more time taking the thing apart and unclogging the blade inside.You can hear the blade cutting for two rotations of the handle then it stops and all but the outermost holes stop producing meat, the input funnel starts to regurgitate the meat back into itself so you make very slow progress. At this point you can carry on going very slowly or take it apart and cut all the fibres the blade can't cut and untangle the blade taking 3 to 5 minutes. After all that i changed to the fine grate hoping the second time through would be better but it was the same over again.Should not be sold as a meat mincer for pork as the blade cannot cut meat fibres on bacon.EDIT: Tried putting already minced beef from a pack through this and it couldnt even go through that without getting jammed/blocked. Have now decided the best place for it is the bin to save myself any more frustration. Salter should stick to making scales. Please dont waste your money on this you WILL regret it as soon as you try mincing meat. unfortulatley i cannot upload the photos i have as proof of the poor quality.

Arrived promptly, easy to set up but not brilliant - bit clunky and hard to use.

I am really disappointed with this item.The suction base does not stay on my worktop.And the handle keeps falling off when I turn it.I had to cut the meat into really tiny pieces and constantly hold on tight to the mincer.I was so looking forward to mincing my meat to make a lovely cottage pie, but sadly it just does not work!

Worse product ever! The pieces remain stuck, doesn't stand properly between other problems..

So far has worked really well using cooked beef!
