These things are plastic... they are expensive for little hunks of plastic, BUT they serve their purpose. I have purchased some off branded ones and the plastic is different and it does not serve the purpose as well. I use cast iron almost exclusively and I have different tips, tricks, and habits for cleaning them but I find these probably the most used tool/resource in my arsenal. They are fast, effective, and I've found them to hold up well overtime. I've not ever had to replace due to damage, but I have had to replace due to losing them... don't ask me how, I don't know... but it's happened lol. These are NOT made in the USA like lodge pans, this is cheap junk, BUT it works and it works better than the ones that look very similar but are not lodge. (The plastic is different. These lodge ones seem to have a little give and flexibility where the other branded ones seem like kind of "brittle" for better words plastic. They don't work as well and DO break) So yeah, I recommend these. For me value has to do with how well something serves its purpose, if there are better alternatives cheaper, and what my perceived cost of the materials are. For me, this probably costs like 5 cents or something to make. It's cheap molded plastic lol. There are NOT better alternatives (that I have found). The overall cost doesn't break the bank even if it feels like a rip off. So I recommend :)

I wish I would have known about this wonderful little gadget when I purchased my cast iron pans. It is a game changer and makes cleaning the pans so much easier!!!

How did I not know about this set earlier? I bought the Lodge Pro-Logic P12SGR3 Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron Square Grill Pan, 12-inch in October and had been REALLY struggling to clean the burned bits stuck in between the grooves of the pan. I had given up on using this pan and was about to donate it to Salvation Army when I saw this set featured on Amazon when I went to buy Lodge L8SK3 Pre-Seasoned Cast-Iron Skillet, 10.25-inch earlier this week. I figured that this set had one little scraper that would work for each set and at $6, I didn't really have anything to lose. Although I haven't yet used the red scraper, I have used the black one and OMG, my pan cleaned up as good as new. No more ruining sponges or brushes, no more kosher salt. I waited for the pan to cool completed before scraping it, rinsing it, heating it to dry off most of the water, and then rubbing some vegetable oil back on. Basically, if you've been on the fence, just get this. Your time is worth a lot.

I wish these were better quality. Our ones that came with a grill pan disappeared during an international move, and I replaced them with these. Lodge is a great brand, but these bent very fast. I love scrapers for being gentle on our pans and safe for non-stick things like Whoopie pie tins that I use to make breakfast sandwich sausage and eggs, the perfect size for putting on English muffins. I don’t know why these bent. They’re still useable, but I’m really disappointed, I’m used to being able to trust in Lodge. I like that one of them is red, it’s harder to lose and easy to spot if it ends up down the disposal. The grill scraper part I haven’t used yet, but it fits our pan and I’ll use that side of it on that when we do. But, unfortunately, I expect the little prongs would bend quickly. I will eventually purchase another brand, whenever these break from being bent. But for now they do what I need them to do.

Durable non-stick materials. Easily held in your hand and can be thrown in the dishwasher. If you use pans with ridges, whether they are made of cast iron or aluminum, these are highly recommended for scraping off sticky material.

Excellent for scraping dried or crusted food off pots and pans, and also around the house (e.g. smoothing small wall repairs).

Superb product. Very thoughtfully made. Kiddos to @LODGE ! Works very well to scrap of left over food or dry scales from almost any surface on any cookware. Especially cast iron. Lovely product. Especially the ridged one is simply amazing to clean the grill skillet. Works just fine. Very happy to have bought this

Didn't work on my grill pan. The scraper teeth things don't reach and are not the same width to work nicely etc
