Installed in 2016 sprinter van under the passenger it seat works great. I was very skeptical about this product especially when you read the installation manual the best thing you can do is go on YouTube and watch a lot of videos if you are fairly handy you will be able to install this without any issues. I did not like the fuel tank that it comes with it is very bulky and hard to fit and hide places but it has a long run time. It will heat full-size van fairly quickly and not draw much power. I had to buy a smaller more discrete fuel tank you can connect it to your main tank if you want but I opted not to. It does not need much fuel to operate. The few things that I have to say that are negative is that the screen is a little difficult to navigate. Temperature controls are not that accurate. There is smells that come from it in the beginning from burning off. I recommend extending the exhaust further away from the intake. You will hear a slight ticking noise but it is not that loud. The remote is hit and miss doesn’t work every time. Compared to the very other expensive models it seems to work good especially for how much you pay. My favorite part is that it will heat your van without idling for long periods of time and defrost everything immediately it makes it very comfortable to sit inside of your van without burning up diesel and having your engine running the run time is ridiculously long which I like. Working in and out of my van is my livelihood so it is a game changer especially if you live in cold climates. Highly recommend this product.

Purchased this second heater to replace one that had a bearing go in it after 2 years of use. This one was purchased late 2022 and installed in the Spring of 2023. When I went to use it in the Fall of 2023 it didn't work and threw an E-3 error code for a bad glow plug. After contacting the company and receiving nothing but lip service, I finally purchased two glow plug kits and replaced replaced the glow plug- not once but twice, and the heater continued to throw the E-3 error code. It's winter in Maine and we're now into January 2024 and the heater still doesn't work- not that Vevor cares about it- they got their money and simply go round and round with you hoping that you'll finally give up on receiving a satisfactory resolution to the problem.

I ordered a similar item, but was sent a different brand with manual control. It works great! Instructions were total crap, but it’s pretty logical to set up. Only issue was knowing how to prime it the first time. Fantastic heat output.

I spend a lot of time in my pop-up camper. I've been using the Mr. Buddy propane heater for years however I've been having to replace it every 2 years. I was going on my 4th one and that was it!I've been researching Chinese diesel heaters and boy do I have regrets for not going this route a long time ago. This heater has been phenomenal. Finally no more condensation! I get nothing but dry toasty heat from this!This heater is a total game changer. I've got well over 300 hours run time on it and it runs flawlessly.For those of you concerned about powering it, just buy a deep cycle marine battery with at least 850 cranking amp hours. I bought the Renogy 100W portable solar panel to trickle charge the battery and it has worked amazingly.I'm now testing the power life between charges and I've got 40 hours run time with no Error messages concerning power. This is hands down the best purchase I've made for extending my camping season. If you been on the fence about purchasing a Chinese diesel heater, just do it!

I live in the van in the Pacific Northwest and it's cold out here. This heat saved my life. It's enough for my van it is very economical in fuel and it's very quiet. One thing is that there is no thermostat there is a control the limit the fuel intake and that's all. You can adjust the heat using that. I said the fuel intake to the lowest and it's enough. Half gallon of fuel we'll run 12 hours or more.

This heater has the older controller and motherboard with the basic H 1-6 heat settings, not the thermostat and timer options in the newer controller. The old and new controllers look very similar, so be careful when you order. I'll have to eventually buy a new, updated controller and motherboard. It also came with the infamous green hose, so I had to order some of the good white nylon hose to got from the pump to the heater.Additionally, the heater I ordered was HappyBuy, but I got a Vevor. I know they probably all come from the same factory, but be ready for that, too.The heater is inexpensive and functional - I just wish the description was better written so I would understand exactly what I was getting. I would have avoided this one and tried to find an updated model.

I thought I would give this a try in my jeep wrangler. Its a excellent Primary or secondary heat source, great for emergencies or if you break down. The kit came with ample parts to get it installed, I got the dual muffler one but didn't use them, unit isn't that loud. Only extra parts I bought were rubber fuel line and a simple on/off toggle switch since I wired directly to battery for use when jeep is off.

This product works great! I used it to replace a 3 year old unit that suffered bearing failure from near continuous operation.once you replace the motherboard and display with the older model.at altitude this thing stinks, literally. the diesel smoke and soot emitted by the exhaust pipe is ridiculous, gives the expression "Rolling Coal" a whole new meetingI live at 5,500ft altitude, even in mountain mode, this thing runs rich, really rich.I took it to 8,000 feet and it failed utterly within a couple of hours. first overheating, then the combustion chamber nearly plugged solid with soot and wouldn't lightthis model does not offer any method of altitude adjustment other than "Mountain Mode", which really doesn't do it right.Too bad I had to void the warranty to make it operational on a sub 0F night
