Cookies!: An Interactive Recipe Book

This is quite possibly my daughter’s favorite collection of books! She loves cooking with me, and the small interactive features make it fun while also turning it into a learning experience. We have already purchased three more cookbooks from this series, and she still wants more. It also makes a great gift for toddlers and is a wonderful alternative to another toy that may just end up in a pile.

This is one of our favorites to read. The book contains different interactive elements that are great for toddlers who aren’t quite ready to sit through an entire story.

My 4 year old is OBSESSED with this book. It is the cutest thing!! She loves pretending to make and bake the cookies. Best part is the pull out cookies at the end. Love it!!

An instant hit with my girls! Bought this and several other interactive books for a road trip and this one was by far the fave! Love that they can “make” their own cookies.

My son loves this book! We haven’t made the recipe yet but we plan to!

I’m not as enamored of these books as some. They are certainly beautiful and well crafted, but I don’t think they were made with toddlers in mind. A toddler doesn’t know to look for flour pouring down in tiny holes as he pulls a tab. You have to make these things obvious. If just anyone picked up this book to read it to a 2 year old, likely the 2 year old would lose interest quickly. In fact, I saw that happen with my own grandson. So in my opinion, these books are as good as the reader. If the reader has imagination and can engage with the toddler and make it exciting , yes, you can have a wonderful experience. But the books on their own aren’t magical. That’s my opinion.

Me and my daughter love this book, it is so fun and interactive. I love how it shoes you the whole process of making cookies and allows your child ton join in. Will definitely be buying the others that come in this series

Fantastic book, well worth the purchase & will definitely be purchasing more, within the range. Daughter loves to bake & read, cookies being her favourite thing right now & really appreciate the interactive function, being a follow-along recipe, illustrations/aesthetic & overall quality of book! Also includes bonus cookie cut-outs at the end, along with many other wonderful features!
