Originally bought for the stove but long story short, it wasn’t compatible. Ended up using it on the cabinet underneath the kitchen sink where all the cleaning supplies are kept. It’s very easy to rotate and doesn’t interfere with me accessing the cabinet. My kiddo on the other hand has yet to figure it out (1.5 year old). He’s always curiously roaming, getting into things…looking for trouble haha. But this little gadget has held up thus far! The adhesive has yet to loosen despite the many attempts of my little gremlin over the past ~3 months. Would recommend!

I got this to keep my toddler from opening my oven. I installed it about 3 months ago. It was easy to install. The adhesive has held up so far. The only thing is that sometimes we forget it is there & try to open the oven, & it’s annoying sometimes but that’s ok to keep my son safe. My son has tried to open the oven & it stopped him. Works great so far.

I was skeptical about this at first because I thought that with enough force, you'd be able to break it off but thats not the case. Ive pulled the oven door, forgetting it was there and its still there,nice and strong.My 19 month old daughter sometimes hangs on to the other door if she slips and I felt like it was such a hazard not having something keeping it closed. This gives me peace of mind. She cooks/bakes with me so I know it won't be too long until she realizes she want to open the oven her self. Im confident this is going to avoid many burns.

This lock is very small, so it's not as easy to use on an oven with a gap of 1/4" or more. The lock had to be placed lower on the front panel to cover the gap, so only 85% or so of the adhesive tape was available to secure the lock to the panel. With proper cleaning and a 72 hour curing time, one good accidental pull on the door by an adult took the lock right off the oven. On the up side, there was no mark or damage from the adhesive on the oven. Plan B -- when in doubt, use super glue. The panel was cleaned with alcohol again as was the used adhesive backing (which remained securely on the lock), and I applied superglue to both the front panel and the portion of the adhesive pad that would keep the oven door closed. Another 72 hour curing wait and the application of a tacky, bright yellow dot sticker to remind me of the lock, and it works like a champ. So far, it has withstood my pull as well as that of a very large and determined four year old boy. I'll deal with any super glue residue when the kid turns eighteen and leaves home. With the adjustments, the lock works well. As described, it failed.

I bought this as my toddler is running around the more and has started to open the stove. The instructions were easy and it was easy to install. It's very easy to use even my mom with her small hands and weak grip has no problem with it. No incidents so far and my toddler has mostly left the oven alone but better to have it and not need it than to not have it and need it.

Simple and matches the white of my stove. Not bulky and took me 5mins to clean area, stick on- done. Recommended to wait 2 days to allow glue to adhere, so keep it in unlock position. Does the job!

Hardly ever have it engaged but ... With a one-year old grandson roaming around it's good to have available. If he accidentally pulls on the oven handle it could come down and topple over -- but not with this latch engaged.

Definitely recommend, we love this product!

My son's a pain and gets into eveything, especially since his dad taught him how to open cupboard and doors! So I had to buy all safety locks and come across this oven lock, safe to say he's never opened the over while it's been on, or off for that matter. When I move and need new I'll definitely be buying another. It's never fallen off either, not sure what glue they use for these but I need it for everything 🤣

I bought this item for my bedroom door because it opens when is windy outside, and living in a shared house is a bit uncomfortable. Well, I have to say that it exceeded all my expectations. It sticks very well and holds the door perfectly. I haven't try to push hard, but I only need a bit of support. So to me is 1000% recommended.

Save your money, I've given one star only because there's no option to give zero. I've had to return the item as my 18 month old can pull it off of the oven, or open the oven door with it still attatched. Luckily the oven was off and I was with him at the time otherwise it could have ended badly

I put the lock on and left on overnight it did do the job in stopping the oven door being open however the product has melted when the cooker was on so I've had to take it off so pretty useless really.

The lock does do what it's supposed to do, it's easy to use but difficult enough for my daughter to open, my only criticism is that I don't think the sticky pad will last long, I cleaned the area with isopropyl alcohol before applying, but I have seen movement already, I will get some decent sticky pads soon to replace it. But overall I am happy with it
