Personal Experience: My husband who is deceased now had his leg amputated after years on antibiotics. The last round almost killed him but the infection won and he lost his leg. After that we thought our lives would return to normal once he got his prosthesis. My intestines have caused a lot of problems in my sixty-eight years with over-reaction to stress, certain foods, antibiotics, and changes in levels of some medications. I have bought MANY, MANY other probiotics, I tell you, even those in the refrigerated section at the health food stores, and THIS brand is the one that gave me relief and, yes, security and trust in my own intestines again! You have NOTHING to lose trying this high content lactobacillus GG (the highest research probiotic, ever!) which also includes an effective pre-biotic (inulin). This product is the BEST!!!!! Little risk on your part may bring you a lot better health!

I like these because I can open the capsules and give the powder to my kids since they cannot swallow pills. I reuse the capsule for Essential oils. I also like these because they are effective. However, I wish Culturelle would consider an enteric coating on the probiotics so they can guarantee they will survive the stomach acid and make it to the lower intestines, which is where the bacteria are the most needed and where they thrive and reproduce the most. That's the reason I took one star off because for the price, they should be able to provide this. Other than that I find this product suitable for my everyday probiotic needs for the most part, but it hasn't healed my immune system the way other probiotics have that contain the enteric coating.

I read so many articles and saw many videos online that said you need to supplement with apple cider vinegar, digestive enzymes and so forth if you're having digestion problems. I did all of it. I took Manuka honey, licorice DGL, everything. I thought it was my liver or gallbladder but that didn't help either. I spent over 2 years trying to figure this out.Then I realized I went vegan/vegetarian a few years ago and was missing diary in my diet. I started eating organic sauerkraut, yogurt, cheese and kefir. I also bought the Pearls Probiotic and Culturelle. Literally in one day 90% of my gas, bloating, heart burn, gut noises and the like was gone! Now about 95% of it is gone. It's amazing!I think probiotics are highly underrated. If you're young you're digestive issues most likely aren't because your stomach acid is super weak, but you can do pH tests if you want. Usually it's because your gut bacteria is out of whack, at least for me it was.I feel so much better taking probiotics and I hope they help you too. Just make sure to limit the sugars, including white rice & fruit, if you notice candida issues. (white tongue etc.)

These were OK. I'm not sure how effective they were. My bowels moved, but I still struggled so I wouldn't buy him again.
