How Does This Happen?
Well, I have purchased 11pairs of shoe laces from this company. They are American made which is usually a good thing. Not so much this time. I paid over $16 for this one pair of what was listed as 63 inches in length. When I got it today the package said 60 inches. I thought, well okay I can live with that since the laces I am replacing are 60 inches, but I did like the idea of laces a little longer so I could double knot them. Turns out one lace was 61 inches long and the other was 67 inches long. I immediately thought I would return them, but then I thought is it worth risking my life during a raging pandemic with stay at home orders in effect? The answer is no. So now I have goofy looking laces. Oh well, not the end of the world.

Does NOT fit through the metal eyelets of KEEN hiking boots!
The laces seem great, but they don't fit my Keen hiking boot eyelets. In fact, the plastic aglet broke inside my metal eyelet after going through 2 of them. I spent a half hour getting these through just two eyelets before the aglets broke in my hand. The problem was that the aglets were too cylindrical and fat. It would have worked had they been flatter. —great seeming laces in other respects; heavy duty. Sad that I just wasted ~13 bucks.

Disappointing product.
***I have attached three additional photos showing the current condition as of 09/19/21 of these crappy laces since some one asked about this brand of laces.I purchased these boot laces based on the glowing verified purchase reviews. These laces are replacing cheaper ones also purchased on Amazon. The laces are used on my 5.11 duty boots.Only after 3 shifts, the black colored laces have begun showing the white colored material used for the laces. The part of the lace showing the wear are past the 6 eyelets as well. The other laces is already showing a bluish tinge on the laces. Either the black dye is already failing or the white part of laces are going to expose itself soon. The laces on both boots get tied once before my shift starts and stay orginally tied until my shift ends.I just added a third photo taken on 06/22/21 showing the laces on the boot getting worse since the date the first two photos taken on 06/17/21. Between these dates I worked 2 shifts with two days off as well. When I first observed the white coloring on the laces, I thought it was a piece of white fuzz I picked up somehow onto the lace. But upon closer inspection, it was the laces itself.I am really surprised to see this type of wear so soon after these hyped up laces claim they are so tough.

Super strong, impervious to Solvents
My husband loves these laces, he has 3 sets of these Honey Badger laces on all 3 pairs of his RedWing boots. These laces put all other brands to shame. He works as an industrial maintenance tech, so these see dirt, oil, water, grease, plastic dust, industrial solvents (including MEK, which these laces seem almost impervious to.) It has been 1.5 years since his first set and they haven’t so much as frayed, they will not rip easily!!!! They take so much damage and so much dirt the laces will turn black, but was them and the color is back! Just be sure on the length that you order and that your boots have large enough eyelets. He has replaced all the RedWing brand laces, which are junk, with these. The Kevlar allows him to tie his boots much tighter than any traditionally made laces as they hold a knot until you untie them. Basically, they’re great enough for me to write a complete review! These are cheap for the second-to-none quality.

Broke in 4 months time...
These were laced on my pair of Danner Mountain 600 Low boots. I wear my Danner's daily so they do get a lot of use. Both laces started to fray significantly after 4 months. Time to look for a better pair. The original Danner laces lasted at least twice as long.

Advertising doesn't match product
I clearly didn't receive what I purchased, or thought that I purchased. They didn't even provide the advertised wrap around the laces. They didn't even conceal how actually cheap they were. They could have easily placed their own label on them; instead they simply sent them on to me, as packaged by the cheaper manufacturer. These were garden variety, Walmart-level cheap boot laces. I already replaced them from a local store. One day later. Won't ever buy again. Total rip off.

Super strong and tough
I’ve bought three pairs of these. Well because I first bought the wrong color, but iI have had them in my Doc Martens for a while now. While I have to say they are pricey for shoe laces they are really darn good. My Docs just tear laces to shreds for some reason, no idea why but I just kept going through laces. I finally came across these and although was hesitant because of the price I gave them a shot. They are legit, I have them on for couple months now and they have not frayed or start to break. They are still in perfect shape, I was actually impressed. They also stayed tied really well because they way it is made it kinda grips itself in the knot. These are really good, if your a construction worker I would say these are a must have. So while they are expensive you do actually get the quality you pay for. If you just need cheap laces these aren’t for you, these are real deal.

Don't buy if you value durability
These are terrible laces. Anybody advertising their laces as containing kevlar should prioritize durability, knowing that a customer seeking out a kevlar bootlace wants the things to last. These have two layers: what I would assume is a cotton outer shell for softness (kevlar laces tend to be very dense and hard on the fingers) and an inner "kevlar" portion. My left bootlace had the outer shell fray and snap in half out of the blue about 3 months in. Then yesterday (about 8 months in) the right bootlace ripped in half completely.Yes these are pretty and soft, and may look appealing if for some reason you care what people think about your bootlaces. But if your primary goal is to have your bootlaces keep your boots tied and on your feet without falling apart, look elsewhere.

Great laces
A little large for the loops on my boots (my problem, not the laces). I just pried them open a bit to fit better. I expect the laces will outlast the boots.

Size was fine, not the quality. NOT HEAVY DUTY.
First time pulling tight… busted…on both ends. NOT heavy duty unless you’re three
