I bought one of these to replace a dreadful click-clack waste and was so pleased I bought a second for another sink. It's really well made, solid and substantial chromed brass. Fitted very easily into the sink and looks great in place. It was a sod of a job because of previous plumbers over tightening everything and over using sealant, but once the old one was out and the aperture cleaned up, a liberal use of sealant coupled with the rubber seals provided did the job.In case this helps another amateur, the first waste broke in two and then came out and for the second I had to drill through the old large nut underneath the sink. Also, both times I used minimal sealant at first and they leaked so I took them out, cleaned themup and used more sealant. None of these challenges was caused by the waste unit with which I'm delighted. It's really a straightforward job for an amateur; the main problem is access inside a cabinet.

Bought this to replace a scabby and rotten click clack pop-up waste. Easy to install, although I did have to shorten the waste pipe as it was about 13mm longer than the old waste, but otherwise looks very stylish, solid and well made.

Well made, looks good, works well. The only niggle is that the “flap” seems a slightly loose fit, so it’s easily accidentally opened with just a touch.

Changed from a pop up waste in my bathroom after seeing this type of waste in a hotel recently. It is perfect for my needs, seals well and can’t stick shut. Result !

We bought this waste to replace a pop up waste that despite regular cleaning, greasing, etc would regularly get stuck leaving a basin full of soapy water, usually during the morning rush to get ready. Installation was easy, once I had removed to mass of silicone the previous installer had used. I also used silicone to ensure a reliable seal as advised on the many YouTube videos I watched. I picked this item as it didn't have a rubber seal but relied on the quality of manufacture to close correctly. We are certainly pleased with the finished job and can't believe how fast the water drains away compared to our old pop up waste

This does not come with a plastic washer for underneath the waste which means when you tighten it up the rubber washer unseats itself and causes a leak underneath your basin!it is totally useless without this washer so buyer beware
