It's still holding the blade.
Where I live my yard is full of rocks. No matter how many times you go through it they seem just to pop up right as the mower is passing over them. I'm sure none of you have yards like that. You have the yards like on TV no rocks, or funny hills that if you don't hit them just right you have a bold spot. This part goes to the 24" trim mower my wife mows with. Yes she hits rocks. Yes I have to sharpen the blade more then I would like. However this part which breaks on the first signs of a rock has stood up to a few. Both blade points are still there and show no sign of the blade being moved.

Not exact replacement for part number 184590
Not exact replacement for part number 184590. The original adapter has a 5/8 diameter boss to help lock the blade from shaken lose. The supposed replacement part does not have this center boss. It is only the two outer bosses that locks the blade in place. 1/4 diameter bolt now goes into a 5/8 diameter hole on blade. Luckily I have some washers with the correct outer diameter. I drill a larger hole to accept the existing bolt. Now all three holes on the blade provides support. Adapter as designed will probably work but I prefer to have all holes on blade supported.

This is an exact replacement for the original.
Don't be fooled! There are other sellers that show the same picture but the product they send is not correct. I tried to make the other product work, since I had spent money on it but I couldn't make my blade tighten enough to keep it from vibrating.This product fits perfect and tightened completely.

Good fit but brittle and breaks very easily
It fits well and is relatively cheap. My only complaint is these are very brittle and easily break if your blade hits a fairly solid object. I mow in a rough area and occasioally hit rocks and small tree limbs. This makes the second one I've had to replace within a relatively short time. Unfortunately my mower uses an uncommon variant of the 25mm shaft and adapters for that size and fit just not available except by mail-order.

Easy to install and very durable.
This product fits like my original one, It tough, durable, easy to install and fits perfect on my lawnmower. I am very satisfied with this mower part. Well worth the money.

Craftsman Mowers are NOT as good as they used to be........!!!
This Fits the Standard Push Mower - Craftsman 22 inch. I would recommend a dab of lock tight. Threads did not hold on the previous piece... Best of Luck to You...!

NOT PLEASED - WASTED MY TIME
Can not use adapter or blade! Both are wrong- part numbers and sizing for proper fit! Also overcharged for priceing! Where not O.E. as pictured or listed! Will be sending back for return credit. YOU SHOULD NOT USE SUPPLIRES YOU CAN NOT TRUST !!!

Different marking but it worked
The markings on the part I received were different. However the part was compatible with my lawnmower and installed and operated with any issues.
