Marriages Organic Bread Flour 16 kg (Pack of 1)

We bake our own sourdough bread every other day.We use 2oz rye, 8.5oz of this flour and 5.5oz of Marriage's strong white flour. Also 8.5oz water, dessert spoon salt and 2.25oz of starter (half of our supply). We mix it in a bread machine, leave it until risen somewhat, refrigerate overnight, allow to rise for 4 hours the next morning, then bake on parchment sprinkled with semolina (after scoring surface well and sprinkled with flour), at the highest temp, with a cup of water and two lots of water spray at 30 sec intervals. We turn the loaf around half way. Delicious.

Product is good, price is reasonable, but I just bought two sacks and they both have a BB date of Nov 21. No way I'm going to use 32kg in two months. Should have checked, obviously, but be aware of this if you plan to keep in storage.

This is flour and I was expecting at least 6 months to the use by date. This however have a November 2020 date on it. It also come in an all white bag rather than the Marriages bag in the picture. I have yet to use the flour to tell if it bakes well. It should if it is Marriages flour and the label certainly says it is so here is hoping. Have to use it pretty quickly though so a lot of bread this month and next!

The flour is the best I have had , I usually use a drop more water lo make the mixture slacker it appears to make a less crumbly loaf .

As we have not been having much sucess with shop flour, we thought we would try flour straight from the mill. It has been a success. Enjoying the flavour. Bread holds longer kept in the fridge.

I love this flour,the bread is lovely and tasty when baked,I recommend this flour.All my friends and family love it.

I made many lovely loaves of bread from this flour. I was still using it a few months after the use by date and the bread tasted as good as the first ones.
